This is the Necas situation all over again. Nikishin and his agent wanted the Buium $9.3 million a year contract. Next year, he'll be an RFA and if a team wants to give him that deal the Canes will get a haul for him. A nice piece of business for them.

I have zero issues with anyone's opinion on Nikishin, but my God it's been the exact same trade rumors recycled for three months. Reading the same regurgitated tweets 100 times is exhausting.
