Make it make sense: Tarboro alum Kamerin McDowell-Moore is leading ALL Division I football players in rushing yards as a true freshman at Elon.
He was not recruited by nearby ECU, even though Tarboro is a known power and running back factory.
Meanwhile, ECU has lost back-to-back games in embarrassing fashion in OT.

Hey Kam,
Smile if you are the current national rushing leader in the FCS as a true freshman.

In hindsight, we were also probably too low on him, but I can’t say his early success is surprising.
(Tarboro has another one in the 27 class who’s uncommitted👀)
Elon freshman Kamerin McDowell-Moore had the top 2026 rushing performance of any freshman in college football this weekend
273 yards.
2 TDs.
Now ranks 5th in all of FCS in rushing (754 yards).
Nothing new if you watched him @TarboroFootball
