It's essential for any fantasy town regional manager to stay informed on the goings on in your town, and the daily paper is the best way to check! #gamedev #indiegame #indiedev 🎮
The daily paper in Fantasy Town Regional Manager, "The Dimensional Press". There are three articles, a mechanical golem wreaks havoc, a princess out for revenge, and angry townsfolk who are after the local witch. Just another normal day.

Pro tip: In our latest update, we added this nifty extra upgrade that shows where you can place buildings to get their adjacency bonuses.
The upgrades menu of the game, showing the "Holy Guidance" upgrade. It reads "Divine light will show you the way to increased efficiency. Highlight valid tiles for buildings with placement bonuses."

FANTASY TOWN REGIONAL MANAGER - Caps Collective @caps_collective Fantasy Town Regional Manager is a roguelite, card-based town builder where you manage a fantasy town that deals with monsters, rowdy adventurers, and corporate oversight. store.steampowered.com/app/1…
Freeplay Awards 2024: Fantasy Town Regional Manager by Caps Collective Honourable Mentions The game image is a screenshot from the game, with houses, trees, other buildings, and a statue on a grassy ground with blocky grey hills in the background (one of which opens up to a mine with a minecart). On the bottom are 3 cards, Cartographer, Bakery, and House, and the House card reads "a cozy little shack for adventurers to stash their loot and sleep off their concussions". There is a meter on the top left corner with various buttons, as well as other icons on the top right corner (newspaper, quest scroll, notebook).

Sydney folks, we’re showing off our little game about dumplings next weekend 🥟 Getting distracted and overhearing conversations is a big part of the game, so a live event’s the perfect way to play it!

Look at all these games! Psyched to be given an honourable mention, and to see so many of our friends nominated. If you're in melbourne and can make it, Freeplay knows how to put on a good show! freeplay.net.au/awards24

I had the honor of getting stabbed with a cardboard sword by the illustrious @JacobJanerka, creator of the Dungeon Experience. If you’ve played our game, you know we have a sweet spot for fantasy satire, so this one’s right at the top of my wishlist

There’s a ton more wonderful and weird games I wish I could play, but unfortunately I have a flight home to catch! Thanks to all the presenters for putting in the insane effort of both making and presenting your games, and I look forward to seeing you all at #PAXAUS next year!
