The GOP coalition in 2024 just didn't collapse. It got completely nuked. All because Trump and his people completely misread what their mandate was about. Nobody wanted any of the last two years. People wanted 2016-2020 (Just prior to Covid).
The republicans lost a senate seat they have held in every election cycle but one since 1973 because they pushed a horrendous candidate in Michael Whatley.
The post-Trump version of the GOP needs to come lightning fast or 2028 will be just as bad.
Former Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper defeats former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley in the contest for North Carolina’s open Senate seat, NBC News projects. nbcnews.com/politics/2026-el…

Getting Green back is potentially massive for Alabama because it allows them to be way more multiple up front. You can move guys like Thompkins and Latham around more with Green available.
Norvell was never offered the Alabama job
His agent just did an excellent job of using the fact the Bama job was open to get him a very favorable contract
“Loyalty” lol
Mike Norvell was offered the Bama job when Saban retired. He turned it down and was praised for his loyalty. All of that praise is forgotten a few short years later.

Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne said he never spoke to Mike Norvell about the job after Saban retired. ESPN reported serious discussions and that Norvell was a top target. No offer was made according to reports. 247sports.com/college/alabam… tallahassee.com/story/sports/c…
Incredible how hard offense is when you don’t know what the other side is running
The current system has not supported our agenda so we should change the system
Kamala Harris at the NAACP “We the People” event at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Atlanta:
“We need to expand the Supreme Court.”
“We have 13 circuit courts. There should be 13 justices.”
“We need to revisit the electoral college.”
They’re going to stack the court and rig the game, and they’re not hiding the ball.
JFC… and y’all are trying to tell me it’s the state of Louisiana who has their ducks in a row in their lawsuits with the SEC?
I think we can all agree how stupid Daylight Saving Time is!
So, instead of falling back an hour this weekend, I say we spring forward four hours.
That way LSU v. Bama will kickoff when it’s supposed to, and the Tide can experience a true Saturday Night in Death Valley!

Thats... thats not how it works. 4 hours forward would mean LSU’s 2:30pm kick off would feel like today’s 10:30am

Lack of player execution is a reflection of coaching

An update on LSU star LB Whit Weeks, who suffered a leg fracture Sept. 26:
Has continued to make good progress and may be able to return to practice next week, sources tell @CBSSports.
Even possible he could end up returning to game action as soon as next week vs. Alabama.
Welp the LA AG’s argument against the SEC’s federal lawsuit just died
RJ Luis is temporarily eligible to suit up for Will Wade and LSU basketball without any repercussions from the SEC.
Spoke to Luis' attorney about how this happened, their legal plans, etc.
"LSU may be intimidated by ‘Kim Jong’ Sankey, but we're not."
