PPG is recruiting AGAIN, including for a new project, and I'm sorry but I really can't help seeing this as another encouraging sign for Valko's return. For context, I've already gone into all of this in my 15-page article (available on my X profile, with all my sources), but LADS is estimated to account for around 80% of PPG's revenue. That's HUGE. A large part of the company relies on this game, and that includes funding future projects. So when I see PPG continuing to recruit, especially for a new project, right in the middle of a boycott, I think it's worth looking at the bigger picture. Developing a game takes YEARS. Even if this mysterious new project is already in production, we have no idea how far along it is, and it certainly won't become a new source of revenue overnight. PPG still needs LADS, and will continue to need it for quite some time. They can't just rely on some future release to compensate for potential losses from their main source of income. And that's where I find their current strategy particularly interesting. This isn't even their first recruitment wave since the boycott started. They've continued hiring while gradually addressing several of the community's complaints: AMS, main story updates, anecdotes, mini-games, shop updates, more content overall... They're clearly not just sitting around doing nothing. And among the demands that remain, there's obviously Valko. Now, I'm not saying that hiring automatically means a company is financially healthy. But if PPG genuinely expected this crisis to become unmanageable, wouldn't we be seeing a much more cautious approach? Some cost-cutting, a slowdown in investments, maybe restructuring? Instead, they're still investing in the future, including projects that might not generate revenue for years. And something else caught my attention: they're recruiting an English Localization Manager, a Senior Localization Project Manager, and even a Japanese server social media operations intern. The English Localization Manager position is actually listed under Marketing Operations. That's particularly interesting considering all the speculation about global servers supposedly being doomed. To me, these positions suggest that international operations remain part of their strategy. And this is exactly why I keep saying we need to look at the bigger picture. PPG isn't acting like a company preparing to lose control of its main source of revenue. They're acting like a company that expects LADS to keep supporting their growth and future investments. And considering how much of their business depends on it, I find it hard to believe they would continue down this path without being confident in their ability to resolve the current situation. So yes, I'm connecting this to Valko. Because his return remains one of the major unresolved demands of the boycott, and because everything I've been observing continues to fit the same pattern I've been discussing for months. The more I look at PPG's decisions, the more convinced I am that Valko is still in their plans. And these recruitments certainly haven't changed my mind.
