Hi, you don't know me and that's fine, but let me share things from the other side. I am Celes Aurion, DJ Catgirl of IRIAM US, I debuted minute one of the platform going live back in 2024 and have stuck with it every single day since (mind you that is 628 days in a row and counting.) I am someone who understands the platform you could say. The good, the bad, and the reality of it so to speak. So what I am going to do now is talk/debunk each of your claims about said platform so we can all get on with our day. 1. Platform locked dead end service: IRIAM does not lock you to the platform. I have been streaming on Twitch, Youtube, Tiktok, hell even Kick once, since it went live without any problems. The platform encourages you to use social media and other sites to grow your community in fact. 2. An indefinite work time commitment with no guaranteed pay: Incorrect. The platform offers Early Access Streamers (btw it's in beta still here in the west) who bring their own model no hour requirements at all, and for those who are provided a model free of cost (Debut support program) they give them an opportunity to earn the free model and keep the ip after 300 hrs. This is typically hit about 6 to 10 months in depending on your commitment to streaming on the platform. 3. A toxic creator environment where you rank creators on a sliding scale of popularity: All community ranks are private... Unless they support you financially enough to get a fan badge (basically a way for someone to show they are a supporter of your community like a subscriber elsewhere). If you are talking about the cheer ranks and fan badge ranks, those are designed around lifting up different creators each month who perform well, its not a 1 time thing where the largest creator is only ever at the top. Additionally, if you are meaning events, these are voluntary entirely and offer the streamers a chance at opportunities that just don't exist elsewhere without either knowing the right people or having a ton of cash to drop. These do get quite competitive as the offerings and chances are so rare for smaller creators everyone tries their best... and you know what happens when someone else wins? We go into their streams and congratulate them. IRIAM is my home, it's not perfect, it has flaws, but it's still the home streaming platform of so many brand new creators and so many others who push hard every day to succeed. Everything above I said is true. I honestly am not sure how someone could twist an invite to this amazing platform into something like this but its heartbreaking. Not liking IRIAM is fine, the platform not fitting your content is fine, I've said many times that it's not the right fit for everyone. But for smaller creators just giving it a shot for the first time it's heckin beautiful. And for me... it's the best thing to ever happen to me in this industry. I hope you take the time to read this and understand this isn't meant to be an attack, but to clarify the truths versus lies of this place. I really hope this helps.
