Every time I go through London Bridge station I think of @rorysutherland who points out all those £m spent and almost no seats. Shameful.

@MPSRichmond I'd be interested to know if your data security policy allows material seemingly classified as evidence to be read on trains where it is readable by other passengers?

Hopefully it's a quiz or test/training material. Even so, it makes for concern at poor appearance of data control?

@BBCNews Injuries in Munich "after a vehicle deliberately rams into a crowd". A vehicle cannot have intent, please word correctly: a driver deliberately drove their vehicle into a crowd.

I've been touched by suicide personally & professionally, prevention is now part of my job (suicide outnumbers road death 4:1!) . Please support this amazing charity. On behalf of those in need, and those who would be bereaved without this, thank you. samaritanscommunity.enthuse.…

A cute little Friday starling to welcome the approaching weekend
As it's Friday, I'm asking all my followers to please retweet this tweet to help my little bird account beat the algorithm and be seen!🙏😊 To make it worth sharing, here's a little ball of Starling outside my bathroom window. 😍 Thank you so much! 🙏♥️ #FridayRetweetPlease

Friends and colleagues who live ot work in Bath. How does the sub-1G level of data signal not turn everyone into furious/desperate hordes?

Office Rail &Road review National Highways today orr.gov.uk/search-news/natio…, safety data excluded, but you can read most recent safety report orr.gov.uk/sites/default/fil…. including complexity of stopped vehicle detection. Not perfect, but a substantive achievement by all involved.

1897 cyclists observations on road conditions and the Highways Act of the time. Love this, Frome museum doing what local museums do so well.

When you find a battery to mains converter your beloved dad made for his beloved minidisc player using a bit of a battery and a phono connector, and make what looks like a tiny incendiary device. 13 years gone and never forgotten.

Between @TLRailUK and @EastMidRailway not a great show today to my visitors from NZ. 1. London Br All tickets machines out of order, info desk shut. Train cancelled so to St Panc to change. There lifts not stopping on way up, so trouble getting to EMR.

BT's @openreach Contactor replace telegraph pole yesterdy, no warning to residents. On the day workers announce phone/internet will be down 'up to 12hrs'. 24 hours later still no internet, 24 homes affected. visit to investigate: next Tues: 'prioritised' service apparently.

@BedfordTweets why are enormous retail outlets allowed to have no cycle parking? B&Q has none, yet most customers carrying amounts very easily transportable by bike. Top marks for toucan across B530, zero marks for 1-stage crossing of busy access road - not LTN 1/20 compliant.
