We forged a new kind of politics here in the Lone Star State.
An answer to this decade of division.
Now the real work begins.

Trump must put the American people over politics and work with Democrats to bring costs down.

After being one of the few crypto-aligned people willing to go on mainstream media (@60Minutes) and criticize World Liberty and the corruption around the project, I was yelled at by most of the policy people in the crypto space, told I didn't know what I was doing, that pissing off Trump and working with the Democrats was a mistake, lost consulting business from some of the more extreme folks, and was bluntly told I didn't get it.
Oddly, those people are now very quiet today.
( Other than perhaps @justinsuntron, who continues to wage his own one-man war against this. Politics makes for strange bedfellows indeed. )
By the way, if your policy or strategy people were telling you the things they were telling me? Fire them. And maybe call me. You're going to need some help.
The bad news is much of the crypto industry will now be a target for the new Congress, in many cases deservedly so for never taking risk or compliance seriously. The good news is big tech and AI are bigger targets, so at least crypto is less relevant and headline grabbing than ever.

The many beat the money. The people beat the corporations and special interests. Hope beat hate and fear.
Michigan, we won.

.@JamesTalarico: We didn’t win by alienating our neighbors, or by shaming our neighbors, or by ridiculing our neighbors. We embodied a new kind of politics. A politics rooted in a deep love — for our state, for our country, and for all of our neighbors.
My faith teaches me that love is the strongest force in the universe.
Love is not passive. Love is not neutral. Love is not weak. Love requires that we stand between the bullies and the bullied. Love requires that we look evil in the eye and not blink.
Love can heal what’s broken in America.
Democrat James Talarico celebrated his victory over Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton in Texas’ Senate race, becoming the first Democrat elected to represent the state in the US Senate in 38 years. In his victory speech, he compared his win to the biblical story of David vs. Goliath.
"We just proved that all the money in the world is no match for the people of Texas."
James Talarico addressed supporters early Wednesday after winning the US Senate race in Texas to become the state’s first Democrat elected to the chamber since 1988 bloom.bg/4iEG3fB

Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face.
These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy.
While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.
