I’ve been saying this since yesterday. We weren’t within an Asses roar of an All Ireland 18 months ago. We have seen the minors/U20s have some year. We have a Leinster and an All Ireland final appearance. Young lads coming through etc. Use this as a springboard not a millstone.
Perfect summation of the year for Galway. At the beginning the year we would have taken a long run in the Championship and a cup of some sort. A young team, balanced with some experience and they performed very well. Only one team can win it after all.
