Weak. At my highschool they'd use students reenact drunk driving incidents on the football field. They took the dude in the back of my Spanish class and ran his head over like Phil in The Sopranos while The Fray was playing on the PA system.
Had a come to god moment realizing I've been using Letterboxd as my main social media platform after logging The Muppets Take Manhattan
My dad passed away the other night.
Sometimes he'd tell a story about growing up that would make me laugh and I'd ask "how come you never told me that" and he'd say something like "I'd never thought to bring it up." There are probably hundreds more of those I'll never hear now..
..which is sad but in an unexplainable way also kind of comfortable, maybe some things I'll pick up along the way just like when he was still here laughing with me. I'll miss him every day.
