Cécile Kohler et Jacques Paris ont enfin quitté l'Iran et sont définitivement LIBRES. Au téléphone il y a quelques instants, ils m'ont exprimé leur émotion et leur joie de retrouver bientôt leur pays et leurs proches.
Fierté du travail de longue haleine des équipes du Quai d'Orsay pour parvenir à ce résultat. Gratitude à l'égard de notre ambassadeur et de nos agents à Téhéran qui ont assuré, dans des conditions très dégradées, la sécurité de nos compatriotes ainsi que leur sortie d’Iran.

Cécile Kohler et Jacques Paris sont libres et en chemin vers le territoire français, après trois ans et demi de détention en Iran. C’est un soulagement pour nous tous et évidemment pour leurs familles.
Merci aux autorités omanaises pour leurs efforts de médiation, aux services de l’État et aux citoyens qui se sont mobilisés sans relâche et ont ainsi contribué à leur retour.

La France ne se soumet à aucun chantage. Elle assume de dire NON. Elle soutient la suspension de l'accord commercial avec les Etats-Unis voulue par le Parlement européen. Si toutefois la coercition se confirmait, l'Europe en tirerait toutes les conséquences. La Commission s'y prépare. Elle dispose de moyens très puissants pour le faire.

Territorial integrity and sovereignty are fundamental principles of international law.
They are essential for Europe and for the international community as a whole.
We have consistently underlined our shared transatlantic interest in peace and security in the Arctic, including through NATO.
The pre-coordinated Danish exercise, conducted with allies, responds to the need to strengthen Arctic security and poses no threat to anyone.
The EU stands in full solidarity with Denmark and the people of Greenland. Dialogue remains essential, and we are committed to building on the process begun already last week between the Kingdom of Denmark and the US.
Tariffs would undermine transatlantic relations and risk a dangerous downward spiral. Europe will remain united, coordinated, and committed to upholding its sovereignty.

As members of NATO, we are committed to strengthening Arctic security as a shared transatlantic interest. The pre-coordinated Danish exercise ”Arctic Endurance” conducted with Allies, responds to this necessity. It poses no threat to anyone.
We stand in full solidarity with the Kingdom of Denmark and the people of Greenland. Building on the process begun last week, we stand ready to engage in a dialogue based on the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity that we stand firmly behind.
