In his 11 road course starts with McLaren, @lundgaardoff has 9 podiums, including two wins. Three of his five runner-up finishes were races won by Palou. Franchitti: 44 oval starts before first oval win. Palou: 28 oval starts before first oval win. Lundgaard (age 24) will be working with both of these four-time champions @CGRTeams.

Kyle Kirkwood has 30 IndyCar starts on permanent road courses and has yet to finish on the podium. In fact, he has more finishes of 20th or worse (8) than he does top-fives (4). He has led a total of 28 laps (24 at Laguna Seca, 4 at Road America) with a 12.6 average start and 13.2 average finish.
