It's a warm evening out there. Cooler tomorrow after tonight's rain moves through.

TUESDAY A blustery day once again with sunny spells and fleeting showers, some heavy with the chance of some hail and thunder ⚡. Drier and more settled conditions on the way later this week. Max 13°C Min 6°C Max Gusts 35-40mph

MONDAY NIGHT More rain to come overnight and winds will strengthen again with gales in places or severe gales out west. We're not under a yellow warning however. Some of the rain will be heavy and squally. Min 10°C Max Gusts 40-50mph (windiest the further west you are)

Rain set to clear over the next hour or two. Remaining mostly cloudy after that but much drier bar some pockets of drizzle. Becoming milder.

Temperatures above average later on Monday, with dew points into the teens, but cooler again later into Tuesday.

Fingers crossed but high pressure could build in later next week and although weak at first, it then looks to build further. Doesn't mean a lot of sunshine, as cloud could well be dragged in from the east but a relief from stormy conditions from the west. [although a lot of areas still need rain]

MONDAY A cloudy start then rain spreading in from the SW during the morning, some heavy but clearing for the afternoon. Becoming windy once again and we slip into a warm sector so temperatures rising. Max 14-16°C Min 9°C Max Gusts 35mph
