Putin's goal isn't about territory — it's not even about Ukraine's surrender.
It's about erasing Ukraine & destroying our statehood.
The truth is that if we stop fighting, we die.

Chair of Ukraine's foreign affairs committee Oleksandr Merezhko calls for Steve Witkoff to resign after calling Putin a humanitarian.
“It's like calling a Hitler humanitarian during the Second World War”
@ayeshahazarika
Ukraine is suffering another large-scale ballistic missile & drone attack ordered by the "humanitarian" Putin.
@SteveWitkoff's Putin praise is a total disgrace for America & @realDonaldTrump.

Ukrainians ‘feel betrayed’ by Trump blocking Russian sanctions, says MP

Attempting to coerce Ukraine into capitulation is easier than confronting the aggressor.
But @realDonaldTrump needs to understand:
We mustn't surrender.
We must survive.

Australia congratulates Ukraine on its election to the UN Human Rights Council for 2027-29.
As Russia continues to escalate its brutal and unprovoked invasion, Ukraine's voice for human rights and accountability is more important than ever.
Australia stands with Ukraine. 🇦🇺🇺🇦
Ukraine joins the @UN Human Rights Council for 2027-2029 while continuing to defend its sovereignty against Russia’s war of aggression. We thank all UN Member States that supported our country’s candidacy.
As Russia’s aggression and grave violations of human rights continue, Ukraine will prioritise accountability, protection of prisoners of war and unlawfully detained civilians, the return of deported and forcible transferred Ukrainian children, and support for international documentation and investigation mechanisms.
"Drawing on our own experience, we will work with partners to strengthen accountability, defend human dignity, reinforce the international human rights architecture, and address emerging challenges to human rights worldwide," Ukraine’s Foreign Minister @andrii_sybiha has stated.

Yesterday, unfortunately, Kyiv was hit by ballistic missiles, and we received no warning from our partners about this attack. Usually, we do receive such warnings, and they are extremely important – they help us defend ourselves. There were five ballistic missiles, and, in fact, our Armed Forces detected them only seconds before impact. And that is precisely why we tell our partners that their cooperation with Ukraine provides greater protection for life, allows us to save more people, and helps stop Russian killings. Our military and intelligence services must cooperate fully, and on our side, we have everything necessary in place.
From President Zelenskyy’s evening address.

It is unclear how seriously to take America’s threats to halt weapons supplies. There are also question marks over Donald Trump’s lifting of sanctions on Russian diesel, which rests on shaky legal ground economist.com/europe/2026/10…

Blaming the victim of Russian aggression is morally wrong.
The U.S. mustn't fuel Russia's war machine.

An energy ceasefire announced without consulting Ukraine isn't peace.
It's coercion for capitulation & fuel for the Russian war machine.
We need power, water & guarantees, not unilateral disarming.

The view from Kyiv after President Trump made a deal with the Kremlin to release Russian diesel into global energy markets. When President Zelensky criticised that deal, Trump snapped back saying Ukraine needs a new leader.
It's morally wrong to do diesel deals that fuel the Russian war machine that kills Ukrainians.
It's also morally wrong to call for @ZelenskyyUa to stand down because he defends Ukraine.
