Where Eagles Dare – Part 9: Making a Nest

Honestly, it’s been a week since it happened and very few people care but I just keep saying to myself – how did we win the league with THIS team? You’ve all played the game and y…

I’ve been testing @CM_Duel - an online multiplayer auction version of CM01/02. It’s a great concept which I think has a lot of potential. If you are interested in helping @CM_Duel out with the next phase of live testing, please get in touch!

Every year on Football Manager, I add celebrities into Premier League teams. This year, Pol Pot was the top goalscorer for Chelsea. I'm a Fulham fan

In the late 90s Champ Manager literally ruined my life. Stayed up playing all night & crashed my work van the next day falling asleep at the wheel. Got sacked. Wife ended up leaving me. But I did win the Premier League with Southport which remains my greatest life achievement.

I don’t have a new save idea yet but luckily my friends do. Tuesday - @tjmitcham1983 and the AI experiment continues Wednesday - @KingOfTheRooks is back with the half and half Premier League Thursday - @Emsonite has a brand new save and it’s wackier than ever

I tell my wife that I go out with my coworkers for drinks after work each Wednesday. In reality, i just go to a quiet pub near where we live and play Football Manager in peace and quiet.

The Football Manager games peaked in the early 2000s with Championship Manager 3. In more recent years the game is unrecognisable and not fun. Who wants player meetings, prolonged press and managing staff? Too much like work and just not enjoyable.

Started a little #cm0001 challenge to topple Celtic and Rangers with Dundee Utd. “Battle bravely against relegation”…nah Still need to improve the rep of the side to recruit good players
