ALT a Black woman wearing helmet and climbing harness smiles and a young teen behind her looks up at El Capitan in Yosemite. Text reads "I'm particularly happy to see Coach Emily receive the Jury Award because as an African American, I can only imagine the impact of seeing a film centering Black and brown people in the outdoors would have had on me as a young person and on my daughters and son. I'm sure this film will open a lot of eyes and provide new perspectives and possibilities for people of all colors." - Eric Johnson, SVP, Sound and Engagement at Trailblazer Studios and DocPitch Juror

24-year-old Cat Runner of Louisville, Kentucky was the winner of @hbomax’s rock climbing reality show The Climb. He is a trans masculine person of color and the founder of Queen Climbers Network.
He is someone we admire and is a great role model in the rock climbing community.
