For anyone taking care of their elderly mom:
Remember, she never counted the times she woke up to soothe your cries, banish the monsters under your bed, and comforted you back to sleep.
Don’t count the times she needs you now.
Remember to hold her hand as she can only take small steps now, just like she held yours when you needed to be steadied.
Don’t get frustrated when she repeats herself, she spent all her life listening to your trials and tribulations and always knew how to comfort and celebrate you.
When her memory begins to fade, remember, she knew you first and has loved you the longest.
Remember, as her world gets smaller, don’t let her feel alone. For her entire life, you have always filled her world.
Don’t abandon her now.
It’s hard watching the one who gave you life, or the one who chose you, to slowly lose theirs.
It’s even harder for them to know their earthly journey is coming to an end.

🚨 HE DIDN’T KNOW THE BOY HAD AUTISM. THAT’S WHAT MAKES THIS SO POWERFUL.
Eight-year-old Christian Moore walked into his first day of second grade in Wichita, Kansas, and noticed another little boy crying alone in a corner.
Christian didn’t know his diagnosis.
He didn’t know his story.
He didn’t know why he was crying.
He just knew another human being was hurting.
So Christian walked over, took Connor Crites by the hand, comforted him and walked him into school.
Then Connor’s mother saw the photograph.
Her son has autism.
She had been carrying the fear so many parents carry: Will somebody ridicule my child? Will somebody reject him because he’s different? Will somebody see his behavior before they see HIM?
And then another eight-year-old boy answered those fears without giving a speech.
He simply held his hand.
Connor later explained what happened in words that could dismantle a grown man’s defenses:
Christian found him, held his hand, and his tears became “happy tears.”
THAT is humanity.
No cameras were summoned.
No organization was created.
No adult instructed Christian what compassionate behavior was supposed to look like.
A CHILD SAW ANOTHER CHILD HURTING AND MOVED TOWARD HIM.
The photograph was taken in 2019, but I don’t care how old it is.
Some stories deserve to be told again.
Because in a world relentlessly teaching us to categorize one another before we know one another, two eight-year-old boys demonstrated something adults keep making unnecessarily complicated:
You don’t need to understand everything about somebody before you can be kind to them.
Sometimes you just take their hand.

🚨 IT'S OFFICIAL: The WNBA is stunned after former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom files to participate in the WNBA draft next year, and play in the league against women — because the league REFUSES to define "woman"
He'd instantly be the most dominant player:
Height: 6 foot 10
Weight: 250 pounds
The WNBA would have to define "WOMAN" under the biological definition to block Enes Freedom from playing, and effectively ABOLISH their inclusion policies
This is a masterclass move! 🤣🤣🤣

The fastest female, 100-meter sprinter in recorded history is American legend Florence Griffith Joyner. She set the world record of 10.49 seconds on July 16, 1988.
In 2026, there were over 1000 high school boys that beat this record! You read that correctly. In this year alone, there were over 1000 high school boys that beat the record of fastest woman in the world ever!
If just one of those boys, or a meager 1/10 of 1%, decided to compete as a woman, he would crush the women’s world record!
I’m not talking about a high school record or a college record or even an Olympic or professional record. I’m talking about the women’s world record that has held since 1988!
Remind me again, why you’re not supportive of women’s rights.

🚨THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES JUST FIRED ITS OWN ELECTION SECURITY CONSULTANTS AFTER THEY DECLARED THE 2026 CALIFORNIA PRIMARY “THE LEAST SECURE ELECTION IN THE STATE’S HISTORY!”
They didn’t like the answer they paid for.
Los Angeles abruptly ended the contract of the election security consultants it hired after the firm issued a report calling the 2026 California primary the least secure election in the state’s history. Mayor Karen Bass’s response? “We disagree with their assessment.”
Let’s be clear: these were the consultants THEY hired. They expected a rubber-stamp report. Instead, they got the truth — and immediately fired the messengers.
When even the people you pay to look the other way refuse to play along, you know the election was a disaster.

Today I finally understood something about Donald Trump that I had been missing this entire time. And when it hit me — it hit me completely. Because, look at who this man chose to surround himself with.
Not billionaires.
Not people born into power.
Not people who had everything handed to them.
Karoline Leavitt — 27 years old. Ice cream shop girl from New Hampshire.
Trump looked at her and saw something the entire world missed.
Made her the youngest Press Secretary in American history.
Susie Wiles — a woman who has spent her whole life quietly strategizing from the background.
No fame. No spotlight. Just pure brilliance.
Trump looked at her and said — you will be my Chief of Staff. First female Chief of Staff in American history.
JD Vance — a soldier. A boy from Appalachia who served his country in uniform before he ever served it in office.
Trump looked at him and said — you will stand beside me.
Pete Hegseth — a soldier who gave everything on the battlefield. Two Bronze Stars.
Trump looked at him and said — you will lead our military.
Marco Rubio — the son of a bartender and a hotel maid. Two immigrants who came to America with nothing.
Trump looked at their son and made him the first Latino Secretary of State in American history.
My wife heard all of this tonight and said, "Do you understand what Trump actually did?
He did not build a powerful administration.
He built an unbreakable one."
Because every single person in it knows what it feels like to have nothing. And people who came from nothing never take anything for granted.
Tonight, say one prayer for this entire administration. And say a bigger one for the man who chose them.
Then pass this to every American who needs to understand why this administration hits different from every single one that came before it (Jeff Roush)
IMPORTANT information for parents and grandparents to know and SHARE!!
Parents: Have you heard of the “The Yahoo Boys?” If not, here’s your warning.
They’re a Nigerian gang preying upon teenage boys in America via sextortion. Their methods are evolving and sophisticated.
First, they research his life. Find out his highschool, his friends’ names, and any other personal information they can find. Then, they make a fake account using a photo of a real girl in the boy’s town. “She” chats with him, mentions their mutual friends, and compliments him. Eventually, the conversation turns sexual. The scammers send an AI generated naked photo of the girl as bait. So often, the boy sends a scandalous photo in return.
That’s when the extortion begins. The gang threatens to send the picture to everyone he knows to ruin his life. They demand money—and they don’t stop.
Too much, these stories end in suicide. This cyber security expert shared what you can do to prevent this tragedy:

Thank you Governor for fighting for Nevadans. We don’t need California’s failed policies
Aaron Ford is proudly endorsed by Gavin Newsom, and now we know why. His $18 billion agenda follows the same failed, high-cost, tax-and-spend playbook that made California unaffordable.
Nevadans can't afford 4 years of Aaron Ford. I'll keep fighting to grow our economy, not raise your taxes, and make Nevada more affordable - not more like California.
This says is all beautifully. Thank you World Cup visitors for reminding America what a great country we are and for falling in love with us- the feeling is mutual❤️🇺🇸
The World Cup ends today. One game left. By tomorrow most of you visitors will be packing up, heading to the airport, going home.
So before you go, let me say the thing I actually want to say.
A few weeks ago I wrote a silly post about all the things you were discovering here. Free refills. Free water. Ice like civilized people. Chips and salsa before you even order. Air conditioning that is a fact and not a moral debate. Drive-throughs. Ranch by the gallon. The Germans standing in the HEB meat aisle in reverent silence, finally understanding why we do not have trains. Buc-ee’s, for which there are still no words.
It blew up, because it was true, and because you were so delightfully stunned by all of it.
Even the Wall Street Journal caught on. Their headline this week: how the US lost the World Cup and won over the world. We did not lift the trophy. But apparently we lifted something else.
We even learned a few things about ourselves along the way. Like the fact that Elon Musk, the single richest man on the planet, shops at HEB. Just rolls in and queues up for fresh tortillas with everybody else. The man could buy the tortilla company, the state it is in, and the moon it sits under, and instead he is standing in line at the hot-tortilla counter like the rest of us, because that is where the good ones are. Only in America is the wealthiest human alive elbow to elbow with a mom of four at the salsa bar. That is the whole country in one aisle.
And here is the part I want every one of you to hear on your way out the door.
None of it was a show.
We did not roll all this out because you were coming. The ice was always there. The refills were always free. The grocery stores were always the size of aircraft hangars at ten on a Tuesday. The stranger who adopted your whole section, the guy who gave you a ride, the waitress who remembered your order, the family that invited you to the cookout, that is not World Cup America. That is just America. That is Tuesday.
We are exactly like this when nobody is visiting. Loud, generous, ridiculous, overfed, and genuinely thrilled you came. We will still be exactly like this tomorrow when the stands are empty and the flags come down.
So thank you. To everyone who came, who sang in our streets, who cleaned our stadiums, who turned our cities orange and filled our bars and taught us your chants. You were wonderful guests, and you made a country that just turned 250 feel young and seen and loved.
And to everyone who could not make it this time, the door does not close today. We meant all of it. Come whenever. The porch light stays on, the fridge stays full, and there is always room for one more at the table.
You found out who we are these last few weeks.
Good news. We are like this all the time.
Safe travels home.
Y’all come back now, you hear. 🦋

What a surprise -- the coach that didn't give a crap about making girls on his team room with a male (and not even telling them, therefore without their consent) is a total dirtbag. And has been for many years.
During the SJSU volleyball team’s 2024 season, the school got a letter from one of coach Todd Kress’s former players, alleging he attacked her in a hotel room decades ago. SJSU thanked her, apologized to her and Kress continues to be head coach.
