Tomorrow, 10/27, Former NJ State Deputy Attorney-General Brian Fitzgerald will have his preliminary hearing in a PA court to determine whether the Prosecution has sufficient evidence to bring the case to Criminal Court for trial.
Fitzgerald, a DAG in the administration of Democrat NJ Gov. Sherrill is charged with:
* Possession of child sexual abuse material.
* Distribution of child porn photos/film
* Criminal use of a communication facility.
* Brian Fitzgerald was a Deputy Attorney General in the Administration of Democrat NJ Gov. Mikie Sherrill. Right?
* DAGs are not Civil Service positions. They serve at the pleasure of the Governor and can be retained in office by approval of the Gov. or terminated by the Gov.
* Mikie Sherrill could have ended his state employment when she took office as Governor, but she chose instead to keep Brian Fitzgerald employed as a DAG in the Dept of Law and Public Safety.
* Brian Fitzgerald is not "a nobody". As DAG, he worked investigating insurance fraud cases and counsel to the NJ State Real Estate Commission.
