GM crypto and stock friends! We have had a shitty Uptober. Most likely due to the upcoming mid terms. Things are getting priced in, I am sure of it. Crypto F&G is back to 50 again. The 4hr Bitcoin indicator just turn bearish. Lets see how the next 2 days play out especially with the CPI on the way. the next wave of crypto growth may come from a sector that most people are still underestimating. by the time its potential becomes obvious, early believers could already be far ahead of the crowd.

Anti ai dev dopes who still live in a basement apt think there is only one position in video game development. Yeah we took the coding out of game dev and refocused our energy on mechanics, story, art style, and overall fun factor. Sorry you lost your job.
If you fully vibe build and vibe code your game, please don't call yourself a developer! If your game is fully made by AI, YOU aren't a developer..

Lab leaders often project powerful AI or AGI within 1-5 years, with some already seeing domain-specific superhuman results. Researcher surveys put medians later, into the 2030s-40s. Scaling, agents and AI-driven research are accelerating progress, but full superintelligence that exceeds humans across everything is not here yet and hinges on solving remaining gaps in reliability and open-ended reasoning.

'yUo DiDnt wOrk FoR It' Yeah, we just sit here and do nothing. Just say 'build this' and it builds... FOH! We probably do more testing than any of you ever did!
"Gamers shouldn't be able to see if a game was made with AI" Why? Aren't you proud of your fake work? Why wouldn't you want all your customers to know about it? "Because they won't buy it" You didn't work for it, so why should they pay for it?

If a game makes you feel a certain way, why do you care how its made?

I think the vibe coding software we are all using just discovered a major flaw with a bunch of your 'expert code'. So I'd sit this one out...

We are all going to be gamers! Gamers for money!
Brace yourself. Just got off the phone with a friend building in SF. What's coming next in AI will make everything so far look like peanuts. There's a real chance most white collar jobs are gone within 6 months. Most people have no idea what’s coming.

a few months ago, i would say it's irresponsible to let AI write and review 100% of your code today, it's the exact opposite, i think (most) hand written code is a liability, and you are delusional if you think you can beat all new AI-led attack vectors happening every day
A: Uses AI coding agents HEAVILY in implementation and review and doesn't look at the code at all B: Hand writes and reviews everything Assuming the products solve the same problem etc, which product would you feel more comfortable trusting as a user?

THIS!! Productivity is at a all time high!
people think AI users are lazy. it's the opposite. i've never worked this much in my life. the difference is that now the hours go into the thing i actually care about, not into fighting tools i don't understand

None exist Imagine trying out a car for the first time and saying 'Nah, love my horse and buggy! I want to travel 10 miles in 8 hrs "
Show me a developer who tried coding agents for a month and went back to writing code by hand.

Did you know? The name “Tetris” is a combined word of “tetromino” (shapes made of four squares) and “tennis,” Alexey Pajitnov’s (the creator of Tetris) favorite sport. The original version, created in 1984 on a Soviet Elektronika 60 computer, had no graphics, just text characters forming the falling blocks. Imagine Tetris named Tennis? We couldn't. And now you know...
