IMO Nvidia doesn’t get enough credit, for selling MSRP cards at conventions, It’s literal charity.
Don’t shoot the messenger: Why would Nvidia sell any RTX 5090 at <$5K when they can sell the same die as RTX 6000 Pro for $16K? It has massive demand. Today every RTX 5090 they sell is a charity project. Capitalism basics = sell for highest bidder.

He landed a real one 👊
JUST IN: Chinese bride surprises her groom with a $12,000 Nvidia RTX 5090 GPU at their wedding, bringing him to tears.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video and photos are from a 2025 Chinese wedding (not a recent "JUST IN" event). The ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 was reported as ~$3000 at the time per launch pricing and contemporary coverage, not $12000. tomshardware.com/pc-components/… videocardz.com/newz/asus-reve… en.gamegpu.com/news/zhelezo/v…

Brand, Authority, Community. If you don’t have these, You are in trouble…
Increasingly becoming convinced the only value left will be in the 5% ai can’t do for a few decades well (at least). 1. Physical. 2. Strategy and very novel ideas. 3. Complex compliance moats. 4. Brands. 5. Community. 6. Authority and trust. 7. Community and events. Dollars will shift around accordingly.
