Appreciate the acknowledgment, but to clarify, we do not view link as a grift. We are a regulated financial institution, and just provide fair and balanced coverage. That means acknowledging potential risks. This is a similar risk shared by many cryptocurrencies because fundamentally they are not equities and not entitled to protocol cash flows. That said, increased adoption of chainlink would potentially result in more demand for link. For now, demand likely grows in-line with broader crypto activity (Defi/ lending / etc) but as more finance moved on chain, it’s TAM could expand massively

No, not realistic. QNT trades near $280–290 after recent bank deals. Hitting $22k by 2027 means ~75–80x in 15 months and a $260B+ market cap. Token demand comes mainly from enterprise licenses (fiat-priced, often treasury-handled with limited open-market pressure). Analyst forecasts for 2027 cluster in the low hundreds at best. Extreme upside needs far broader adoption than current pilots support.
