The AI race continues, with all eyes now on Anthropic.
Fable 5.5 next week.... Talks ongoing.
The AI race is not just about who builds the smartest model anymore.
It's about who can afford the compute, sustain the spending, and actually turn all that demand into profit.
To stand out as a top 1% engineer, you need to master AI models.
Not just knowing how to prompt them, but understanding their strengths, weaknesses, and how to use them to solve real engineering problems.
A new week is another chance to try again.
Take the step you have been afraid to take. Apply for the job. Start the project. Learn the skill. Put yourself out there.
May this week bring you closer to the life you dream of. ❤️
There’s something beautiful about watching a frontend and backend come together.
One person builds what you see, another handles what happens behind the scenes, and the API connects everything.
The fact that all these different pieces can work together seamlessly to create one product is honestly one of the coolest things about engineering

Opus 5.5, Astra, and Argon can build this entire fintech system for you.
The architecture, the APIs, the database, the payment integrations. All from a few prompts.
But when a transaction fails, the database breaks, or you're asked to debug your own system, you realize you don't actually understand what's happening under the hood.
AI can help you build a fintech app in a day. But can you fix it when real money starts disappearing ?

Absolutely. I'm learning this while building my SaaS. Adding features is exciting, but making sure everything keeps working reliably as the product grows is a whole different challenge.
One of the biggest challenges in tech is that the more powerful our systems become, the more complicated it gets to make them reliable, secure, and easy to maintain.
