I've been watching football for 50 years. I've never seen an end-of-game failure like the one the Commanders committed. I thought the Fox bug was incorrect, and that Washington had a timeout. It's an immediately fireable offense by Dan Quinn.

The clock was stopped with 55 seconds left. They had a first down and no timeouts. They needed a very clear plan for how many plays to run and when to spike the ball. The failure to have that plan is on the head coach and no one else.

Jayden was still in the pocket so he couldn’t just throw it away. Intentional grounding had a 10 second runoff. He can’t let it with his WRs down the field because they aren’t going to make it back in time. His only hope was to sprint out of bounds which is why you don’t run the play the play to begin with!!!

Not only did you call a play that wasn’t a spike. You called a play with all the receivers on 10+ yard routes. THAT IS HOW I KNOW THE HC WASNT AWARE THEY DIDNT HAVE TO’S
