Arm round the shoulder and he’ll be busting his balls off again, not even worried about that. Will he get that arm round the shoulder though?
Last comment on today. The notion of any sporting direction within the club is a fallacy. Wilcox does nothing, there’s no game model, no conditioning plan, no discipline. The manager is completely left to their own devices.
United can’t afford to not sack Carrick because the bottom has fallen out.
United can’t let Wilcox keep failing because he’s a big part of why the bottom has fallen out.
It’s impossible to resolve both at the same time.

Carrick’s biggest mistake was overachieving.
The club weren’t planning for the Top 4, the window proves that. If he finished 6th, they’d have pulled the trigger on a different manager and would have been compelled to operate in a different manner. Arse backwards club.
Hope United never go the club legend route ever again, I know they were both a little out of their depth but I hate to see guys like Ole and Carrick get done how they got done.
Dalot lard arsing himself off last as if he’s really upset after that 90 mins, performative rubbish.
I don’t think United players have ever really ‘downed tools’ as Neville insists. It’s always been a mix of poor coaching, a lack of talent, improper conditioning and the pressure at the club being too overwhelming for practically everyone in the club.
