A few personal words in the wake of 247's report that Toney will have surgery: I can't speak about ESPN's and The Athletic's earlier reports about Toney intending to try to play Saturday and the injury not being longterm (I wouldn't try to guess their sources). But for full disclosure, I can address my own similar report that it wasn't serious/long-term: My report was based on a former player (and a close associate of a UM coach) reaching out to the coaching staff at midday today and being told by coaches that the injury wasn't serious and he should be fine to play Saturday. As the excellent @GabyUrrutia247 noted, "further evaluation has revealed the situation is worse than initially anticipated." So even though UM coaches thought at the time that he would be fine, I should - in retrospect - have waited until further examination by doctors to report anything. Lesson learned and my apologies. UM hopes he's back for the playoffs.
Toney is being further evaluated, with the hope that nothing is more serious than the ankle "tweak" that happened at practice. UM coaches told people that they do not believe it's serious/longterm, as we reported. ESPN reporting now that "Toney is expected to attempt to play in the game given its magnitude, and the injury is not expected to be a long-term setback." The Athletic said "he is expected to attempt to play" Saturday. Hopefully, further tests won't show anything more concerning.

Seven years ago, Shannon Dawson nearly quit coaching and returned to Louisiana.
Now, his marriage of Air Raid concepts with Mario Cristobal’s bruising rushing attack has produced the country’s most explosive offense.

Official. Just pray he is ready to go! If not.
Jacobs start at X.
Move Upshaw to Y.
Barkate remains at z.
If there is ever a game that we need TE production it’s now.
NEWS: Miami star Malachi Toney is dealing with an injured ankle and his status for Saturday’s game against Notre Dame is uncertain, sources tell me and @max_olson. Toney is expected to press and attempt to play, given the magnitude of the game.

The problem with refusing to be honest with your audience (and potentially yourself!) about your politics while creating political content is you end up creating political content that appeals to... absolutely no one.
Winning back the House could be the very thing that COSTS you the White House in 2028! And TRUST ME, there's a reason I'm saying that!
I've got a message for BOTH parties, and some folks aren't going to like it!

In a stunning upset, Democrat Gina Hinojosa defeated three-term Republican Gov. Greg Abbott. She will be the first Democrat to serve as Texas governor since 1995 and the first Latina to ever win the seat.

I think I want to do reviews like Keith Lee but for church. 😭 Every week, I visit a couple churches and critique the pastor, the message, the choir and congregation.

Friendly reminder that Deion Sanders owes Colorado $10 million if he terminates his contract on or before December 31st, 2026
Unless he retires (citing health issues, possibly), he will remain Colorado's Head Coach
Also, he's not a candidate for any other FBS opening, including Florida State, where he isn't exactly welcome (IYKYK)

The last time Florida State was open, it was considered an elite job with a candidate pool full of big names.
That won’t be the case this time. In the new era of college football, FSU is no blue blood.

This is part of the problem with selective quality service. And unfortunately, these celebrity vanity project restaurants in Atlanta are the ones who most frequently go out of business.
Replying to @primediscussion
Like what’s the point of giving Keith Lee some outlier 5-star service? Play that scenario out. He’s going to sit in his car and sing your praises and then 99% of people who show up because of him are not going to get the Keith Lee special. You’ll still have your same shortcomings
