This is very patronising. US elections are usually very closely monitored worldwide because, hate it or love it, US policies end up shaping the lives of people wherever in the world they might be, including Nigeria. "You know nothing". Smh
The Republicans performed woefully in the midterms because of the Iran war, not because of the Ukraine war. While some Americans might sympathise with Ukraine, it's not the reason they voted the way they did. The Ukraine war didn't raise prices for Americans.
Peter Obi will have an army of people willing to defend him. We will criticise him when he errs, but we will mostly defend him because we don't support nonsense. No one will be able to frustrate Obi's tenure, the pushback from us will be resolute. Plus Obi himself get strong head, in case you didn't know.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how it's done. You mess with people's finances, they vote you out. Your own supporters vote with the opposition to get you and your men out of office. Polling conducted weeks and months to elections are consistent and show that you will lose.
Some Nigerians have already been swayed by Tinubu's Saudi Arabia stunt, and willing to give him another chance. That's the level of peak fooling we're dealing with here.
