We’re excited to announce the opening of a new sensory classroom at @Sshorefinearts, made possible by a generous $1.3 million donation from Special Children’s Charities, with support from @mattoshea19. This donation advances our district’s efforts to enhance educational environments and improve the daily learning experiences of students with disabilities, funding sensory rooms in 22 of our schools. 52% of our graduates are leaving high school with at least one Early College or Career Education Credential @ECCECPS, through our District’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, as well as college credits earned through AP, IB, dual-credit, and dual-enrollment opportunities.

The Chicago Board of Education has unanimously approved the District’s 5-year strategic plan “Together We Rise.” This plan is centered on historical and present conditions that our students, our families and our communities face and works to create anti-racist solutions that address systemic disinvestment.
