I do not expect that liveplay proves legitmacy but if the player refuses to record a liveplay because of: 1) bad phone camera quality in 2026 2) no proper angle possible on his table 3) "i don't care what people say i'm not gonna record it" I'm never trusting this after Fia

I used to think higher SR is more entertaining to watch BUT you estimate map's difficulty based on your tourney experience - how would you perform on this particular map, would you do good or worse under OWC pressure but OWC audience is not only tourney players ⬇️⬇️

Idk why this is downvoted but Truth Nuke on reddit... This particular comment is definitely overexaggerated but personally i would rather play and even watch really hard maps which are not close because the better player actually gets the better scores consistently as they should

If OWC would heavily test skillcap at earlier stages, it would instantly make it a single-man show, where only 1-2 core players would carry the team. From casual viewer experience, that will feel boring, especially when you can't understand difficulty of the maps⬇️

Also worth mentioning that it's 4v4 tourney across ALL countries. OWC should not only favour with highest skillcaps. Countries with lower amount of skill cap players SHOULD be able to equally compete aswell. Otherwise it would leave OWC with only 4-5 teams who could do high SR
