I have watched Salim Saleh say he visited @kizzabesigye1 and found him "almost dead," and that he ensured KB's transfer to JCRC. Are we, as Besigye's supporters and comrades, expected to be grateful that a man in critical condition was moved from prison to a clinic? Isn't medical attention a basic right, not a Favour? More importantly, how did KB's health deteriorate to this point in the first place? Isn't his condition a direct consequence of continuous state persecution? It is deeply frustrating when the state subjects innocent citizens to torture, only to turn around and paint itself as an angel of mercy. #FreeBesigye

I told @kizzabesigye1 how he seems to be winning the fabricated treason case; even though the hearing started while he was in the ICU, and despite him being absent in court and with no legal representation at all! He responded by tapping out the letters on the alphabet chart: “All God.” KB is so grateful to God for giving him another chance at life and for fighting the battles he cannot fight himself. Let His name be praised indeed! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 #FreeKizzaBesigye #Freepoliticalprisoners
