Boston always comes first. ☘️ Mostly Celtics, but there's always room for a good NBA story — past or present.

JT spent two minutes trying to put all the drama behind them. Jaylen responded by praising his "hell of a PR team" TWICE and talking about lamb chops with gravy. I genuinely have no idea what we're doing anymore. Can we just stop this already?
Jaylen Brown on Jayson Tatum 😳 “It’s no beef, but it might be little lamb chops and some gravy, you know what I mean?” “He should stay ready at all times.” 👀

Seeing J-Dub go down like that brought back awful memories of Gordon Hayward’s injury in 2017. Still remember that feeling. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Praying it’s nothing too serious. 🙏
Jalen Williams has suffered a serious ankle injury, and they are bringing out the stretcher Sending prayers. 🙏

I actually like having Walsh in the starting five, especially when we need someone to chase the other team's best guard around. But every time I picture Hauser sharing the floor with JT and PG, I think about how much space those two would have to work with. Honestly, I don't think there's one right answer here. Depends on who we're playing.

One thing that's genuinely bothering me about this Celtics team so far: the rebounding. Outrebounded 49-39 by Detroit, then 44-37 by New York. You can play great defense for 20 seconds, but none of it matters if you give them another possession. Gotta clean that up.

Caleb Wilson just dropped 30 and 14, and he's got 67 points through his first three NBA games. Only Michael Jordan had more for the Bulls. And of course, his next game is against Boston.... Joe, please don't let us become this kid's next highlight reel.
Caleb Wilson's 67 points through his first 3 career games are the SECOND-MOST in @chicagobulls franchise history! Only Michael Jordan (74 points) scored more through his first 3 career games in Chicago 😱

Here's some funny shit about Derrick White 😂 According to his longtime trainer, Derrick was showing up to fundraising events in Denver in a suit, bringing his sneakers along, then finding nearby school gyms just to get his workouts in. His trainer says he didn't miss a workout all summer, even on vacation, except for travel days. Even this man's days off come with a workout plan. Now let's see all that hard work pay off on the court. ☘️

Boston's got the Bulls on Monday and the Nets on Tuesday. First back-to-back of the season. PG often sat one end of back-to-backs in Philly, so I'm curious how Joe handles this one. Personally, I'd rather see what the rest of this roster can do than run a 36-year-old PG into the ground in October.

I used to hate watching Mitchell Robinson cause all this chaos against us. Now he’s doing it in a Celtics jersey and I’m sitting here enjoying every second of it. Funny how that works. 😂

I don't need the Celtics to shoot fewer threes. I just want them to stop settling for them. 38 points in the paint and 8-for-13 on corner threes against New York. Attack first, make the defense react, THEN take the three. Would love to see more of that against Chicago on Monday.

I watched these two grow up together in Boston. From all those years of people saying they couldn't win together to finally watching them raise Banner 18. Whatever happens between them now, nobody can take those memories away from us. I'd do those nine years all over again.
I realize it's the negativity that sells the best on this app, but I am not like this so I am just going to appreciate what JAYLEN BROWN & JAYSON TATUM have done for the Boston Celtics during their times TOGETHER. Nothing will ever take that away:

Mitch spent eight years watching JT take over games from the other side. Last night he finally got to enjoy it as a teammate, and he called the experience “mind-blowing.” Pretty nice feeling when the guy who's been giving you nightmares is suddenly winning games for you.
"I've seen JT do that... to be on the same side as it, and witness that being on his team, it was mind blowing." @23savage____ on what it's like seeing Jayson Tatum takeover as his teammate! @jaytatum0: 36 PTS (25 in 2H) on 14-26 shooting

Paul George's 38-point Celtics debut got all the attention, understandably. Meanwhile, he's picked up SEVEN steals in his first two games in Boston. 36 years old and still treating passing lanes like his personal property. 😂

Joe flew all the way to Portugal this summer, visited the gym where Neemias Queta first learned basketball, and even rebounded for him. Last night, Neemy gave Boston 15 points and 3 blocks against the Knicks. For all the jokes about Joe, this side of him deserves more attention.

Baylor Scheierman talked before the Knicks game about having to defend for all 24 seconds against guys like Brunson and KAT. Then he went out and did exactly that. One possession denying Brunson until New York got called for an illegal screen. Next trip? Shot-clock violation. Not glamorous. Just really good Celtics basketball.

The last time the Knicks faced the Celtics as defending NBA champions was 1973. Boston won SEVEN championships in between. 53 years to bring a title back into this rivalry, just to leave Boston with another L.

Payton Pritchard said he doesn't care about starting as long as he's playing meaningful minutes. Well, he got 30 minutes against the Knicks and took just FIVE shots. I'm fine with Joe starting Walsh for defense, but we gotta find a way to get PP more involved offensively.

It took until 3:21 left in the THIRD quarter for a Celtic not named Neemias Queta to attempt a free throw against the Knicks. At TD Garden, too 😭 I'm not asking for a whistle on every drive, but that's a pretty wild stretch.

Tatum, Paul George and Neemias Queta all getting the same treatment on a Celtics graphic. Neemy really worked his way into the VIP section.😂
Liking what we're seeing 👀

JT hit the shots everyone's gonna remember, but Boston deserves some credit for the little things too. Just 10 turnovers while forcing the Knicks into 16. That matters in a game you win by four. Now can we PLEASE figure out the rebounding?

Luka Garza played THREE minutes against the Knicks and somehow scored 8 points on perfect shooting. A putback, two threes, and straight back to the bench. Bro treated the second quarter like a speedrun 😂
