Honestly what advancement has black Americans fought for since? We’ve had no change in legislation since the civil rights movement. We have an entire black congressional caucus and the last thing they’ve done is get Obama elected. Most black people don’t even vote.
& this is why I don’t fucking like you ppl. There is a whole ICONIC MOVIE, called SOUL FOOD, that is centered on the tradition of BLACK AMERICA, SUNDAY DINNER culture. & it started during slavery, on the only day (some) Black Americans were allowed to rest & WORSHIP, where we went to church as a family, & came home turned scraps into a feast for our families. To this very day, Sunday dinners are the backbone of Black American families.
