Season 2 is genuinely excellent and I'll fight anyone who disagrees.

Velcoro is a toned-down Rust Cohle, less spectacularly cursed, more thwarted—which makes his pain a little more painful. And he has moments that rival some of Cohle's best. His romance with Bezzerides is especially moving. They find something good in the darkness together. In a moment that recalls the "Do you ever wonder if you're a bad man?" conversation from Season 1, Bezzerides whispers to him that he's not a bad man. He doesn't really know how to take it, other than to assure her that he is bad. But we know he has a heroic heart, however thwarted, and it matters that she sees it too. If you know, you know.

If it didn't capture lighting in a bottle the way S1 did, that's hardly a huge knock—since no other show has either. It's its own thing.

St. Thomas student drops out amid viral backlash as eyewitness details activist's tactics: 'Wants to incite people' The young woman issued a public apology Tuesday following a viral confrontation with left-wing activist Derek Torstenson, a Russian-born man whom an eyewitness described as having a long history of deliberately provoking people. Alpha News spoke with Sarah Barker, who attended the Oct. 14 Turning Point USA event featuring women’s sports advocate Riley Gaines at the University of Minnesota, where the confrontation occurred. Barker said Torstenson held a megaphone near her ear while shouting insults such as "you're a transphobe," "you hate trans people," and "you should have been aborted."

FAFO is really just about justice. People are to be given what they are owed, and if we fail in this we are at fault. You do a public service when you make them find out.

Patriarchy is when you refuse to tell silly demanding foids exactly what they want to hear.
"Call Her Daddy" host Alex Cooper & actress Sophia Bush: if a woman is questioning whether she can do better than her current husband, "the answer is always yes." "This idea that it's too late or you're too old, or who are you to want more, that's patriarchy. That is crazy."
