Sometimes it's worth getting soaked for a shot.. D8069, 20069, was being taken off the stock in a wet Bury Bolton Street station yesterday, a dash down the platform in the rain for a shot resulted in some well timed clag & tones from the driver 😃👍 top loco @ChopperD8069 18/9/26

Spent a few hours at the East Lancs Railway Autumn Diesel Gala today where the weather was certainly a bit rainy. 20069 passes Burrs Country Park leading 4E02 1249 Ramsbottom to Bury freight service. (18/09/26)

Lovely little day out today with a colleague from the "big railway" on her first visit to a heritage operation, with @ChopperD8069 and a couple of locomotives in steam.
ALT 20069, looking decidedly worse for wear as it awaits its turn in the paint shop, draws into Bury from Heywood.
ALT 34092 'City of Wells' draws through a cloud of her own steam while positioning at the front of the Red Rose dining service.
ALT A small industrial tank engine stands in the Bury Transport Museum with a single-plank wagon in tow.
ALT 80097, with a headboard proclaiming the Belfast Boat Express and the L&Y saloon sandwiched between it and the main coaching stock, waits for time at Ramsbottom. It was booked to cross 'Wells' on the dining train.
