Hey #PortfolioDay 👋 here is a small collection of my brain dumps 🧠

Le retour des streampacks avec la confection de Rizmo ; une mascotte métamorphe inspirée du chat de Linca, qu'on est venu animer pendant des mois mais aussi décliner un peu partout, jusqu'à l'imprimer en taille réelle en 3D.

Thankfully we have created these magic robots to spare you the burden of thinking, writing, making music and art—leaving you to your true passions such as dishwashing, trash disposal, and diaper-changing which we are unfortunately unable to automate at this time

I picked art as a career because it’s the only thing I was ever good at. But now that I do this professionally my biggest issue I face every day is that I’m no good at drawing lol
Microsoft wants everybody to embrace Copilot / AI, or the bubble could burst.
Satya Nadella warns AI boom could falter without wider adoption.
“For this not to be a bubble by definition, it requires that the benefits of this are much more evenly spread,” said Nadella in a statement to FT.
“I’m much more confident that this is a technology that will, in fact, build on the rails of cloud and mobile, diffuse faster, and bend the productivity curve, and bring local surplus and economic growth all around the world,” he added.
While all other AI tools are booming, Copilot on the web has just 1% market share, and Microsoft won't tell us how many people use Copilot on Windows 11.

I stopped forcing myself to always chase the next big piece. Not every artwork you draw has to be more skilled than the previous one, has to outperform your last post or please yourself.

AdHoc Studio on why AI was avoided in Dispatch:
"AI feels like a production solution, not a creative one. Maybe it's a creative one if you aren't creative."

Generative AI is inherently lazy, passive work. You ask for something, then wait. Ask for something, then wait.
The faster the generations get, the more AI users feel like they're actively participating in creation, but it's just latency reduction to throw more slop at the wall.

hey look, an AI artist got hurt because somebody stole his prompt
Never do this:
Passing off someone else’s work as your own.
This Grok Imagine effect with the day-to-night transition was created by me — and I’m pretty sure that person knows it.
To make things worse, their copy has more impressions than my original post.
Not cool 👎
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
"Day-to-night transition" is a basic AI prompt for time-lapses, used in Runway AI (Oct 2024) & Stable Diffusion since 2023. Not proprietary—sharing isn't theft.

I admire people who choose to pave their own path no matter how hard things are.
The world is filled people who settle because they’re afraid of failing.
I’d rather risk, fail, and continue to forge ahead than to deal with the regret of never trying at all.

AI uses up all our water. Increases energy costs. Makes us dumber. Allows corporations to obliterate jobs. Further obfuscates reality when we need the truth more than ever. But yeah keep asking it to write your little emails because you’re too lazy
