Miami-Dade Fire Rescue’s Urban Search and Rescue Florida Task Force 1 (#FLTF1) has been activated by the State of Florida to support communities that may be impacted by Tropical Storm Isaias. The 88-member team, including four canine teams, is preparing to deploy with the people, equipment and capabilities needed to assist communities following the storm. Team members are prepared to bring their search and rescue, medical and disaster response capabilities, working alongside local and state agencies to help people through the challenges the storm may bring.
