Every day that I might get the chance to go snowboarding leads me to feel like that might be the best day of my life
I suppose I should’ve spent this week in Vermont instead of last week
These things are planned ahead of time so there’s nothing I could do. Logistically? It worked how it works and I still had fun
But, wow, conditions look so much better this week compared to last

Come on @alterramtnco - you're better than this.

An immediate 20% tariff on imports from the European Union is rough news for the ski industry. A large percentage of skis, snowboards, ski lifts, snowmaking, snow cats, avalanche control, hill supplies and tuning equipment come from EU countries. A $20 million gondola in containers on a ship just got $4 million more expensive while in transit.

Please don’t make passes and lift tickets more expensive
It’s hard enough for me to afford them, but at least I can justify passes with the amount I ride
The sport is already to cost-prohibitive to new people though. They can’t justify trying it out
Going to Vermont and getting to ride 6 days in a row really just makes me want to move to Vermont. Of course, I’d still have to find a job and world which would severely limit my ability to ride every day
Wildcat is such a cool mountain
Today I skied at Wildcat Mountain in New Hampshire. I haven’t skied everywhere in the east, so I can’t be 100% certain that Wildcat Mountain has the best views of any ski area in the east, but it has to be high on the list.

First time ever being at @KillingtonMtn today. It’s so expansive I’m sure I didn’t even see most of it
Magic Mountain is a special place. There’s something about it that will keep me coming back whenever I get a chance
I’m really glad Indy Pass has allowed me to ride so many cool places
@SkiMagicVT
I don’t know what this is but my Subaru and I might have to extend our trip to go to Killington two weekends in a row to find out
Subaru WinterFest returns January 31 – February 2! Mark your calendars, gather your crew and join us for an incredible celebration at The Beast❄️

Such a fun weekend in Virginia. @WintergreenVA & @massresort are really cool places and the snow was fantastic
Indy Pass is one of the best purchases I make each year
As a short term strategy, this is fine. But what about long term? What is the experience of the Epic Pass-holder this season? Is it good enough to purchase the pass again next year, likely at an even higher price?
They’re not the only pass product out there
Such a fun weekend of riding. Went to @skibluemountain for the first time and I really enjoyed it. Long runs by Pennsylvania standards, high speed lifts, some good terrain. Snowboarding is just the best

Expert skiers only, medical certification required, and up to $23.26 per hour. So a couple bucks more than VR pays lift attendants whose previous experience was “folded shirts at Old Navy.” BTW it’s $328 to ski here for a day. Good thing there’s no other good ski areas nearby.
I love snowboarding so much but having to pay $12 to park at @skicamelback is something that ruins my day. The mountain isn’t good enough to justify it. A couple bucks to park would bug me, but I’d get over it. $12 for general parking is absurd. It steals the focus of the day
Super fun few days at @StrattonResort
It got the snowboard season started off on the right foot
