Okay, I'm back. Sorry about the abrupt break and failure to deliver fanart during halloween. Personal matters came up and I was too bummed out to draw. But now, things are fine. But I'll get started on drawing, soon.

I hate when people call the Unova dex "Kanto rip-offs." While Unova is a soft reboot(not even the only one btw) and some lines share the same archetypes, that doesn't make them rip-offs. That label completely ignores all the differences in design and inspiration that Unova has.

Most of Unova's dex, like with every other dex, is just filling in creature archetypes that did started in Gen 1, like your usual cat or bird mon. Even the most distinct ones, like Sawk and Throh, still have major differences from their kanto counterparts, in design and inspo.

I'll draw something up for Halloween Night and then, return to drawing the starters again. Sometimes, I get sidetracked so bear with me. In the meanwhile, check out this shiny Emboar!

The time to give them anything was with the Gen 4 remakes but no, we had to have "faithful remakes" instead. Legends Arceus, as good as it was, didn't even give them anything. Sinnoh should've gotten the ORAS treatment.

Kinda crazy to me the Gen 4 starters haven’t been given ANY new forms after all this time. No Megas, No Regional Variants, No Generation Gimmick Forms, NOTHING.
