The future of finance, AI, science, technology, and beyond, is being built on blockchain infrastructure. And most people don’t even know it’s there.
Meet the people and companies making it happen.
Introducing Avalanche Originals, a new series that goes behind the scenes with the teams building real businesses on Avalanche.
These are their stories, what they’re building, and why it matters.
Episode 1 drops tomorrow.

A lot of people want to see you fail to justify the risks they chose not to take.
Remove them from your life, ruthlessly.
You are alive at the only moment in human history where every constraint is breaking at the same time.
The cost of knowledge is collapsing. The cost of creation is collapsing. The cost of communication is collapsing. The cost of coordination is collapsing. The barrier between a mind and its potential is thinner right now than at any point in the history of the species, and it is getting thinner every morning.
Each one of those shifts alone would reshape civilization. They are all happening at once, and almost nobody is processing it as one event because the human mind was not built to track five revolutions running in parallel.
Some see the jobs disappearing and panic. Some see the tools arriving and celebrate. Some see the institutions crumbling and mourn. Some see the access opening and build. Each one is looking at a different face of the same object, each convinced they are looking at the whole thing.
The shape is this.
Intelligence was scarce. It is becoming abundant. And every structure humanity has ever built was designed for the scarce version.
Education was built to ration access to knowledge. The knowledge is now everywhere. The credential is still pretending it isn’t.
Media was built to filter reality through a narrow channel. The audience now reaches the event directly. The filter is still pretending it is needed.
Organizations were built to coordinate human minds at scale because one person could not hold a problem large enough to matter. A single mind with the right tools can now operate at the scale of a department. The org chart is still pretending the ratio hasn’t changed.
Geography determined access. If you were born in the wrong place, the signal never reached you. Connectivity from orbit does not ask where you live. The old maps are still pretending the edges exist.
Every gate was built because the alternative was chaos. They were not corruption. They were architecture. Load-bearing walls in a building designed for a world that no longer exists.
AI is not tearing them down out of malice. It is making them unnecessary.
And a wall that is no longer load-bearing is just something in the way.
The question everyone is arguing about is what we lose.
The question almost nobody is asking is what was always behind them, that we never got to see.
How many people carried the ability to solve problems that mattered and never had the tools to touch them? How many ideas died in the gap between a mind that could see the answer and a world that demanded credentials before it would listen?
How much of what we call human limitation was never about the human and always about the infrastructure standing between them and the opportunity?
We are about to find out.
The scarcity that shaped every institution you have ever interacted with is evaporating, and the institutions are the last to notice because they were built to manage the scarcity, not to question whether it still exists.
This is not a disruption. Disruption replaces one thing with another.
This is a phase change. The conditions that made the old structures necessary are ceasing to exist. What emerges on the other side will not resemble what came before, because it will not be solving the same problems.
You are not watching a technology trend.
You are standing inside the most compressed transformation in the history of civilization.
What you do in the next few years will not be measured by the standards of the world you grew up in.
It will be measured by the world that is arriving while most people are still arguing about the one that is leaving.

After 14 years in crypto, I’m convinced Avalanche’s architecture is the strongest foundation for the next era of AI and autonomous finance.
Here’s why we’re building NØFI Chain on @avax and what we’re launching today. 🔺

Today, NØFI Chain’s public testnet is live. 🔺
Our Avalanche L1 is the foundation for our work on programmable payments, stablecoin settlement, and financial infrastructure for humans and autonomous agents.
A concrete first step, with more development ahead.
6/8
I respect the other ecosystems we’ve worked with. We share core values: transparency, free markets, and open networks.
I’ve followed Avalanche since 2021. Its architecture and principles are why we’ve chosen to focus our building efforts here.

Credit to @el33th4xor .
From Avalanche’s academic foundations to building through difficult markets, his technical depth and conviction stand out.
As an entrepreneur, I respect substance and persistence. Thank you, Emin, for your commitment.
4/8
Why this matters for AI:
Autonomous agents need fast finality, predictable costs, explicit spending permissions, and verifiable outcomes.
Avalanche gives us a foundation to explore those requirements through dedicated financial infrastructure.
3/8
Avalanche9000 lowered the barriers to launching a dedicated L1.
Interchain Messaging connects these networks through messages authenticated by the source chain’s validator signatures.
Independent infrastructure, with a path to interoperability.
2/8
Shared blockspace means one application’s surge can raise costs for others.
Avalanche’s sovereign L1 architecture lets builders shape a chain around their application: its own validators, gas token, fee model, execution environment, and permissioning rules.

SpaceX and Elon kind of show you how lazy everyone else is in the American economy all around. Bro's out here giving us the future all those other guys promised us 30 years ago single handedly. Everyone else is just milking the margins.

By comparison, it's starting to feel like like Elon Musk is the only living entrepreneur and every other businessman is just there to manage quarterly reports. There is literally no one anywhere innovating like he is.
"I built a cookie empire" "I manage a fleet of thousands of rentals cars" like come on bro are you even trying

All over the country, kids just watched the Roadster fly and decided their own crazy ideas might be possible too.
Thanks, @elonmusk.
Avalanche chain revenue is exploding.
From as low as just $1,066 on July 30, the fees generated by @avax have done nothing but grow ever since.
The daily figure now stands closer to $10,000-$20,000 and even reached as high as $64,010 on September 24.
What's behind it and is $AVAX season finally in...?

South Korea is moving fast on tokenized capital markets and Avalanche is a key part of the infrastructure.
Over the past two months, South Korea’s Financial Services Commission has outlined a roadmap for tokenized stocks, bonds and funds, with the first phase set to begin in February 2027.
The Korea Securities Depository is building infrastructure connectivity on Avalanche to help bring those markets onchain.
The ambition spans the full securities lifecycle: issuance, trading, clearing, settlement and investor rights, with eventual onchain settlement.
