Michael Burry is doubling down on his semiconductor bear case. A July 24 portfolio update reportedly shows him adding to short positions in Nvidia $NVDA and Micron $MU two major beneficiaries of the AI compute and memory boom. Burry believes the chip trade has become overheated. Bulls argue the infrastructure cycle is only getting started. Is he early again, or does he see the next correction coming?

Nearly $28 trillion is concentrated in just 10 companies. Their combined market value now sits at approximately $27.8T, down about $644B from $28.44T last week. $NVDA - $5.009T $AAPL - $4.891T $GOOG - $3.902T $MSFT - $2.835T $AMZN - $2.496T $TSM - $2.092T $AVGO - $1.817T Saudi Aramco - $1.729T $SPCX - $1.515T $META - $1.510T Nvidia and Apple alone represent $9.9T or 35.6% of the entire top 10. Is megacap concentration still the market’s greatest strength, or its biggest risk?

The revenue scale of the Magnificent 7 over the next three years is staggering: $AMZN: ≈$2.8T $GOOGL: ≈$1.8T $AAPL: ≈$1.6T $NVDA: ≈$1.6T $MSFT: ≈$1.2T $META: ≈$920B $TSLA: ≈$365B Combined: roughly $10.3 trillion. Amazon alone is projected to generate more revenue than Microsoft and Meta combined. The AI era isn’t only producing trillion-dollar valuations, it’s building trillion-dollar revenue machines. Which company beats expectations by the widest margin?

One market. Completely different realities. Distance from all-time highs: JPMorgan: 0% Apple: 1% S&P 500: 3% Nvidia: 13% Amazon: 17% Google: 22% Meta: 25% Gold: 28% Microsoft: 31% Tesla: 37% Palantir: 42% Netflix: 48% SpaceX: 49% Bitcoin: 50% Silver: 52% $MSTR: 83% Trump Coin: 98% Melania Coin: 99% Some investors see wreckage. Others see opportunity. Which drawdown are you buying, and which one are you avoiding?

Jensen Huang just sent a clear message to Wall Street: The AI buildout is nowhere near finished. Nvidia’s $NVDA CEO believes this cycle is still in its opening phase, not approaching its peak. If he is right, today’s enormous spending on chips, data centers and power infrastructure is the foundation, not the finish line. Are investors still underestimating how long the AI boom can run?

MICRON $MU: THE AI-MEMORY THESIS IS BEING TESTED As of 12:28 PM MT on July 16, $MU is trading around $850, down roughly 6% today and 32% from its $1,255 high, but still up nearly 200% in 2026. The chart is damaged. The business is not: • Q3 revenue: $41.46B, +346% YoY • Adjusted EPS: $25.11 • Gross margin: 84.9% • Free cash flow: $18.3B • Q4 guide: $50B revenue, $31 EPS and 86% margins • HBM4 revenue already exceeded $1B Micron has also signed 16 strategic customer agreements. Fourteen represent approximately $100B in minimum contracted revenue, supported by $22B in deposits and commitments. Today, Micron expanded those agreements across the automotive ecosystem with Qualcomm, DENSO, HARMAN, Hyundai Mobis and others. Why is the stock falling? Investors fear peak memory pricing, future supply expansion, AI-capex fatigue and a broader semiconductor deleveraging. Michael Burry’s short from approximately $1,052 is now about 19% profitable. My entry framework: • $840–$860: Small starter position • $790–$820: Best risk-to-reward zone • $740–$760: Stronger downside support • Above $900: Confirmation that momentum is stabilizing My conclusion: Micron’s chart needs repair, but its AI-memory thesis remains intact. Around $850 is investable for a small starter; $790–$820 is where I would become more aggressive. Healthy reset? Or memory-cycle peak? Not financial advice.

Apple is going ripe today 🍎 $AAPL closed at $308.63, up 4.84% on the day, with buyers stepping in strong and holding the move. After months of doubt around margins, AI positioning, and hardware demand, Apple just reminded the market why it’s still one of the most powerful names in tech. Is the next leg higher starting?

Hopefully Michael Burry can see the analytics in this $MU article.
