Picking up my treatment that was so rudely interrupted by Timmah the tumor. Felt just like scuba diving clearing your ears, no big deal. This is part of the week-long @CPIStemCells healing protocol. Another therapeutic treatment that can help our veterans and first responders, which is why @MiracleHopeFdn works with CPI.

Dear Fibromyalgia, Monday is here again, not sure I rested enough at the weekend ready for another week. Here are some more blooms from my garden that I took yesterday as I haven't ventured outside yet today.

Why is it when I post about Fibromyalgia people assume I've had it for 5 minutes, know nothing about it and have done nothing to help myself? Some fellow sufferers need to do better. I don't treat people like that.

Have you ever forgotten what you were saying mid-sentence?
Or walked into a room and couldnโt remember why you were there?
Frustrating? - Thatโs my life every day with fibromyalgiaโit's called fibro fog.
It messes with my focus, my speech, and even how I think.
Itโs like my brain gets stuck in quicksand, and no matter how hard I try, I just canโt get it to work the way it used to.
Over the time iโve learned to get over the grief, and laugh about it.
My stepdad, who fought cancer for over 10 years before he died, taught me that humor is one of the best ways to handle the hardest things in life. He could make a joke about anything, himself, any situation, and even his illness, and it inspired me to stop taking my foggy moments so seriously.
Now, when I blank out or forget something, I crack a joke about it. It lightens the mood, and it reminds me not to beat myself up.
Living with fibro fog isnโt easy, but finding tools that work and learning to laugh along the way makes a huge difference.
If youโre dealing with fibro fog too, how do you manage it? Do you have tips, tricks, or funny stories? Letโs share with each otherโbecause this fog might be frustrating, but together, we can navigate it.

Iโm really struggling with ME/CFS right now. The loneliness, the pain, the feeling like life is passing me by โ itโs all so heavy.
If you see this, maybe share something thatโs helped you, or an affirmation. I could really use a bit of light today. #MECFS #ChronicIllness #pots

This is a sea change in my personality and it's not great for me. I preferred being more stoical and taciturn. I did have a temper at times but it was much easier to manage.

This also effects my mood. I can be irritable or approach full blown rage without sufficient reason (sorry range rover drive who almost hit me turning without looking when I was walking and got screamed at by me). I might also feel very sensitive or upset by minor things.

Now when I crash and I'm fatigued I'll experience "brain fog" this is caused by neurological damage that showed up on MRI. I won't be able to find words. I'll speak in clipped sentences. I'll struggle to remember places, people and even concepts.

Despite feeling ill as fuck and with the worst brain fog, I still managed to go into college on two separate days and sit my exams. I've probably failed but at least I turned up and tried my best. Pls say you're proud of me ๐ฅฒ

I hate the assumption that if youโre chronically ill then youโre not already doing everything you can.
