Solid walls confuse Budgett frogs, so when they hit one they just keep trying to walk through it. That is because this simple minded amphibian lives exclusively in soft mud and shallow puddles, and their heads are shaped like massive wedges.

I truly hate videos like these. Tap water is chlorinated. Chlorine is toxic to the skin of Budgett frogs. This frog is experiencing a chemical burn and with no escape or means to defend itself, it screams. But haha funny internet frog scream.

You have to be very careful with aquatic frogs like these. Today I was changing François’ water. I dechlorinated it, and made sure it was the same temperature as the container, and even then the ph difference caused him significant distress (I had to scoop him out and try again).
