They’ve done well to play til 6.15 Superb opening spell from the 2 Bens, doing as you’d expect in overcast conditions at Headingley, backed up by G Hill’s incredible 1-handed screamer from 1 Bairstow left to his left to rid Somerset/the competition’s most solid bat Nicholls

Made the 1st ball! No Joe Root (despite the gap between tests & ODIs) to spin @YorkshireCCC to win this match but Bess+Kuldeep primed to spin the 4th inns-that’s the reason Bairstow opts to bat 1st in overcast, floodlit conditions that suit Gregory-fortunately fit enough to open

Jess Hazell @SomersetWomen top scorer with her CB 77* in the 5 wkt win over @lancscricket “A rollercoaster! Corney batted really well & Jonah came in and made the run chase much easier We felt calm needing 7s, then taking it down to 5s by rotating with the odd boundary.”

The last home game for @SomersetWomen this year taking on the reigning champions @lancscricket with qualification for finals day hopes for both still alive on the same points in the @onedaycup table (Lancs just above on NRR) Comms on livestream👊🏻🎙️

Miggy Pretorius “I think the wicket played well, we bowled well. In partnerships we bowled well, hopefully we put on a big score tomorrow then bowl them out again. I’ve got Asa a few times now, and a wicket in my first over a few times too which is nice.” #SomvGlam #countychamp

Josh Thomas after his 2nd @CountyChamp 💯: “Getting put in, then putting runs on the board is always going to hurt the fielding team. We did want to bat first. I am very delighted, you always want more but it is good to get another one on the board.” #SomvEss #CountyChamp – at Taunton, England
