I strongly welcome the Government's approval to establish a special Oireachtas Committee on the report from @CitizAssembly on Drugs. I would urge this work is concluded so that any legislative, policy and operational changes can be implemented in 2024. It's really that important.

The Cork Kerry model, highlighted by @CorkKerryCH shows how integrated care can be delivered using a partnership approach @HSE_SI @CitizAssembly @CoolmineTC
We have heard from statutory & voluntary sectors.
The Assembly can be the impetus for informed change. Political change comes from public support.
Ireland needs to re-focus its strategy.
A patch work of services coming together means greater access and support

I don’t normally tweet about work. But for this I make an exception. It’s been a brilliant year working with the @CitizAssembly and particularly on the #CABioLoss Assembly with @aoibhinn_ni_s, the secretariat, the speakers and the members. It was an honour and a privilege.

The @CitizAssembly recommendations on biodiversity loss #CABioLoss were very supportive of farmers but realised they worked within a very difficult and broken food system.
