🔥 All 31 Pledge Signers are in Good Standing! Citizens Alliance of North Dakota is proud to report that every single one of our 31 Pledge Signers held the line during the 2025 Regular Session. These Champions of Liberty didn’t just vote right — they committed publicly to fight for conservative values, and they followed through. They’ll be rewarded with strong support and positive advertising in their districts. This is what real accountability looks like. #NDPolitics #CAND #ConservativeChampions #GoodStanding #HoldTheLine #ChampionsOfLiberty

📷 THEY HAD TO MAKE A NEW LAW TO BEAT US. The North Dakota Supreme Court has denied our petition challenging the certification of four legislative candidates, but it never ruled on whether the Secretary of State properly enforced election law. Here's why we're frustrated: North Dakota law (§ 16.1-11-39) establishes an August 31 deadline for candidates to correct deficiencies in their petitions. It does not explicitly establish that deadline for citizens challenging ballot certifications. Meanwhile, § 16.1-01-08 provides a process for correcting ballot errors, including after ballots have been printed. Yet the Supreme Court used the candidate correction deadline to justify rejecting our petition without deciding whether the signatures and certifications complied with the law. We believe the Court effectively created a new deadline for citizen challenges that the Legislature never wrote into law. Our evidence raised serious questions about missing petition information, signatures completed by someone other than the signer, and inconsistent enforcement of election requirements. Those questions remain unanswered. As CAND Executive Director Brandon Prichard explained: "The establishment will pretend to take a victory lap today. But we exposed serious problems in how this office applies the law. They didn't win on the facts. They escaped on a technicality." Election law should apply equally to everyone. We will continue demanding transparency, accountability, and consistent enforcement of North Dakota's election laws.

The North Dakota Supreme Court has agreed to hear our case challenging the ballot certifications of four legislative candidates. Late last month, Citizens Alliance of North Dakota took action after discovering serious problems with the nominating petitions for Steven Sauter, Blaine DesLauriers, Timothy Mihalick, and Terry Goerger. Our petition argues that the candidates failed to meet requirements established under North Dakota law and, after invalid signatures are removed, lack enough valid signatures to remain on the ballot. Governor Kelly Armstrong recently dismissed our case as “garbage.” Fortunately, the Governor doesn’t get the final word. The Supreme Court does. We’re grateful for the opportunity to present our case directly to the justices. Election law should be enforced equally for every candidate, regardless of who they are. We’ll keep you updated as the case moves forward.

BREAKING NEWS! 🚨🗣 Citizens Alliance of North Dakota has announced a petition to the North Dakota Supreme Court challenging the certification of four legislative candidates in Districts 3, 7, and 25. The petition alleges the candidates’ nominating petitions failed to comply with requirements established under North Dakota election law, including required party information and complete information from petition signers. North Dakota law states that incomplete signatures or accompanying signer information that fails to meet § 16.1-11-16 requirements invalidates the applicable signatures. The petition asks the Supreme Court to find that the four candidates were not properly nominated under North Dakota law and are therefore disqualified from holding office. The petitioners allege that once the invalid signatures are excluded, the candidates fall below the requirements for lawful nomination.

We have major news out of the Federal District Court of North Dakota. Our lawsuit defending free speech is moving forward after the court denied the State’s Attorney Julie Lawyer’s motion to dismiss, allowing our First Amendment challenge to proceed. This case was filed after we faced direct threats for exposing corruption. Convicted Rep. Jason Dockter sent a cease-and-desist over our billboard, and former Rep. Jeremy Olson threatened legal action after we exposed his misconduct. These are just a few instances of the ND law being misapplied to silence whistleblowers and advocates of government transparency. The court recognized the chilling effect this law has on political speech. This is a critical step toward protecting every North Dakotan’s right to speak freely without fear of prosecution. Meet Jedidiah Rader. Jedidiah is a husband, a father, and a proud North Dakotan. He grew frustrated watching real conservatives like Representative Jeff Hoverson and other principled lawmakers get primaried by the Bismarck swamp. Jedidiah reached out to Citizens Alliance of North Dakota, filled out an application, and has now joined our team as a part-time door knocker in District 3. He didn't wait for someone else to fix the problem - he identified the issue and became the solution. We are knocking 100,000 doors between now and Election Day in November. We need all hands on deck to make this happen. Click below to sponsor a door knocker or sign up to volunteer today!

The only way to save North Dakota is to meet voters where they are. Arguing on social media is not going to make a difference. Attending rallies is not going to transform North Dakota into a Liberty State. We have to put in the work and knock as many doors as possible if we want to really make a difference. Charlie Kirk encouraged activists to "knock that extra door." Charlie understood the impact of having boots on the ground. It's why the Democrats invest so much money into door-knocking campaigns. We have launched the largest door-knocking operation in North Dakota history because we believe that if we knock on that extra door, we will turn the tide and make North Dakota a Liberty State. If you are ready to join us, click below to sign up, and we will get you set up with everything you need to make a real impact here in North Dakota!
