Last week, we got to attend @CitygateTweets annual Conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The conference is for Rescue Missions across the world to come together, share best practices and learn from one another.
We are all deeply committed to transforming the lives of our unhoused neighbors.
I always come home from the conference:
•Fired up and even more committed to the important work that we do.
•Filled up with ideas and strategies to help make our organization better.
•Closer to our team members that attended the event. We always make memories that we’ll never forget.
•Refreshed. As leaders it’s so important to take time from working in your organization to working on your organization.
I’m so grateful for opportunities to go to conferences like this.
Thank you, Tom De Vries, for your leadership and to your team for pulling off another great conference.
Our Missions, our city, and our nation are better as a result.
Our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Roneet Lev, attended the Citygate Network conference to share the Trump Administration's work to combat addiction in homelessness.
Thank you @CitygateTweets for your faith-based approaches to helping the homeless!
A choice made, the price paid.
His sacrifice, our salvation.
His pain, our healing.
His punishment, our peace.

As we pause to honor Martin Luther King Jr. and his contributions to bringing greater equality to our country, we reflect upon something he said, "The time is always right to do what is right."
We still face many challenges, and yet, many are stepping into places to do what is right with courage to provide help, hope, and healing to the last, the least, and the lost. #martinlutherkingjr #honor #equality #helphopehealing #lifetransformation
Thank you for how you love the lost, least, and last, by bringing them the help, hope, and healing they need, at Christmas time, and all throughout the year.
From all of us at Citygate Network, we wish you a very Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄

With the ongoing government shutdown affecting SNAP and WIC benefits, we wanted to promote this app again—a practical way for local communities to come together and help one another during this time. The government may be on pause right now, but the people of God don't have to be
You may already provide meals through your ministry—but many individuals and families receiving SNAP or WIC benefits are not experiencing homelessness. This app is a great stop-gap solution to help ensure people are fed and good food doesn't go to waste.

A recent Executive Order marks a notable change in federal homelessness policy, moving from a housing-first and harm-reduction emphasis toward methods that incorporate treatment, recovery, public safety, and outcome-driven accountability.
