On Saturday, Oct. 24, Douglas County's Dougnad volunteer event is bringing neighbors together to help older adults with yard work throughout Castle Rock, Castle Pines, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree and Parker.
Bring your family, friends or coworkers and spend the morning making a real difference. Volunteers will enjoy a pancake breakfast and pick up event swag before heading out to serve.

📷 Emergency Water Line Replacement -Southgate Water District will be performing emergency water line repairs near the intersection of S.Yosemite Street and Chester Street. NB right turn lane from Yosemite St to Chester St and the far-right lane of NB Chester St will be closed.
5-car accident - I-25 southbound between 470 and County Line Road. Two lanes wil be opening; no injuries reported. Tow trucks coming.
🏛️ Young leaders take the Mayor’s seat!
A few curious students got a closer look at local government this summer through Lone Tree’s Mayor for a Day program, made possible through a Lone Tree Elementary fundraising effort.
Harlow joined Mayor Harmon at the July 21 City Council meeting, followed by brothers Newell and Soren on August 18. Their visits included touring City departments, shadowing the Mayor and helping open the City Council study session by leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
📷 Planned Traffic Signal Outage: Lincoln Avenue & Commons Street today from 8:30–10:30 a.m., Public Works crews will temporarily turn off the traffic signal at Lincoln Avenue and Commons Street for planned work. Uniformed personnel will direct traffic during the outage.
