in my dream, @dickc was interviewing @aunder on a small plywood stage at a hilly vineyard and she announced she would be the new CEO of StumbleUpon

I’ve been getting wrong number texts from an 83 year old woman named Judy for the past 5 years. Today things took a turn for the worst.

Yes, my husband leaves a lot of mugs upstairs, but if he brought them all down and we cleaned them, then they wouldn't all fit in the cupboard, and it's all part of a very delicately balanced dishes ecosystem

I’m in hour 2 of pretending to work next to two seniors on a 3rd (?) date & my GOD is this life-giving! Their wide-ranging knowledge bases! Their esoteric interests! Their exotic travels! Life is long, & will carry us on its back! 🩷

Mourning the loss of this incredible landmark. It only ever took you 5 minutes to get through security, the food options were abysmal and it had the general aura of an infrequently attended bus depot. I will miss it every day.
Today is the final day of service to the greatest airport terminal there ever was. Good night, sweet prince.

One of my fun (!) personal (!) facts (!) is I have 3 kids (12, 10 & 10) and they've had lice 20 times. No one believes this.

Intelligence must draw on memory. The mind must not simply compile data — as an algorithm now does more quickly than we can — but recall lived experiences, which contain depths of meaning that only the human soul can recognize, and connect more deeply with the goodness of these experiences. Everything that is good begins “with the Spirit” and thus possesses a breath, a dynamism and a sense of communion that, once experienced, are engraved upon the heart. vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/e…
