All the boys out there tryna get scholarships in the live periods there’s ways to get offered without scoring. Good body language, being a good teammate, listening to coach, and doing the right stuff off the ball: defense, rebounding, passing etc.

Just a little something for parents. Just a perspective from a high school trying to teach the game! 🏀🏀🏀

Players: The most dedicated athletes I come across never talk about how dedicated they are or how hard they work or what they sacrifice. They just show up every single day and give their best. It’s not a hardship; it’s not a chore. They WANT to do whatever it takes to succeed.

What direction do they want to go? I would think 2 state births, 1 state runner up trophy, 2 league titles and 1 regional title is one hell of a direction. Lost a great guy and a great coach.

HS Players...watch more college basketball. Not highlights. Watch how teams score and how they defend. See how many possessions don’t include a highlight just good decisions and great effort. Winning is often boring. That’s why it’s hard. #winning #toughsmartunselfish – at Phoenix, AZ

Good stuff coming from Coach Cal - parents need to hear this!
Parents:
Condition your athletes to accept 'Coaching' by teaching them 'Why' being 'Coached' is NECESSARY...
