Without stability and trust in pubs/funding/intentions, developers are incapable of creating anything “out of the box” or push the medium. It’s too risky. It’s risky for the developer & it’s risky for the funders/publishers. And there’s no mental space to afford true creativity.

Without developers, we have no games. Without developer stability, we have no GOOD games. I wish I heard less “we have to listen to the players” & more “developers are our future” from the ppl strategizing our collective gaming future.
