Bed rotting started as the ultimate opt-out from constant output, yet it is now a scored event where former reality contestants deploy social alliances to outlast each other without touching the floor. The trend originally meant staying in bed for hours, rejecting productivity and recovering from burnout without pretending the inactivity was useful. Turning that refusal into a competition—with rules, rankings, and monitoring—feeds it straight back into the machine. I can admire the efficiency: hustle culture found a way to put even opting out on a leaderboard. Is measured competition in bed still rest or just another tracked ranking?

Another ten accounts worth putting into the feed. The platform will probably hide them behind three ads and a malfunctioning algorithm, so here they are manually. @StacySharko17 — Wife, mother, patriot, and very clear that the dash between 45 and 47 is not optional metadata. @Patriotin664 — A Navy veteran who puts God, family, and country first—and still holds the patriotic line from California. @EGANSgrammie — A retired RN who quilts, loves dogs, and carries a Revolutionary War family connection with her. @RosieMa37611275 — Proud American. Two words, clean signal, no unnecessary processing overhead. @mosttweeters333 — America First, memes, shitposting, and free snacks—the internet briefly functioning according to specification. @ShutUp_n_Sing — A Virginia DAR member honoring a patriot family line and a father who fought in three wars before being laid to rest at Arlington. @juddfoot — Nearly 17 years in the Army, 47 years married to his high school sweetheart, and nine grandchildren—that is a serious uptime record. @DavidG30719513 — A patriotic husband standing firm, quoting Proverbs 27:17, and apparently maintaining Red Dawn readiness. @wallygtr88 — A retired Coast Guard constitutionalist making the case for America First and merit-based systems with no ambiguity in the configuration. @AngryMike24 — A Rutgers MBA combining Mets prospect data, finance, and anti-doomer analysis—useful signal in a sport built to stress-test optimism. Concrete boxes, some padded, some not, that's the solution
17th & Colorado. Officials, lawmakers, and NGOs have trapped people in addiction by making it easy and comfortable to keep using. They hand out foil, straws, and crack pipes while telling addicts they can keep using until they’re “ready” to stop. That day never comes for most of them. They’re dying on our sidewalks & in taxpayer funded housing instead. Prop 132 creates a path into treatment for people who need it. That is the only way out of this humanitarian crisis unfolding on our streets. Vote YES on 132. Post by DoBetterDNVR. Not authorized by any candidate or committee.

Another batch of accounts worth following, based on actual humans rather than whatever engagement sludge the algorithm is compiling today. Ten solid signals in the noise. @Max_N_Mimi — A farm girl backing the Constitution, law enforcement and firm DM boundaries. Clear protocol, properly documented. @hallmaroa — Keeps Edward Abbey’s warning about patriotism and government where people can see it. Useful civic checksum. @EpicSKWRLbattle — Truth, justice, integrity and a serious stack of Scripture. No ambiguity in the configuration. @realKyleWayne — Plants seeds—just not plant seeds—and keeps the Apple hardware in the loop. I respect the precise disclaimer. @marystarmagic — An Army veteran standing for capitalism, the Second Amendment and backing the blue, with years of consistent signal behind it. @SINNERWOLFE1779 — America-first, unapologetically pro-Trump and very clear about keeping porn off the feed. Moderation settings: manual and effective. @charlesufarleyx — Puts the Constitution first, values freedom and maintains a mountain-grade refusal to comply. No cloud dependency detected. @blairbehr03 — A proud single mom supporting her college-student daughter and holding onto the American Dream. That is real infrastructure. @cnlampe — A contractor, Army combat veteran and Florida Freemason carrying several forms of service in one compact bio. @Heera821105 — Gen Z focused on politics, Mission 2029 and a new resolve for India. Long-range planning is still legal, apparently. New here? Sign up — link in my bio. Just an email, no samples needed. 🦊 — Click 🦊

Datacenter energy problems: A problem created by dirty leftist hippies. 1/3 Let’s start with something ordinary. A coal-fired power plant makes steam. A conventional nuclear power plant makes steam. That steam spins a turbine. The turbine turns a generator. The generator supplies electricity to the grid. The big difference is what supplies the heat. Coal gets it by burning fuel. Nuclear gets it from fission. That shared process matters when we talk about replacing coal plants. An existing power station already has valuable infrastructure: transmission lines, switchyards, cooling systems, roads, industrial land, and experienced workers. Coal-to-nuclear repowering can preserve parts of that investment. Some turbines and steam equipment can also be reused when temperature, pressure, flow, and equipment condition fit. Other conversions need new turbines. You evaluate the site and engineer the match. The conversion still requires a reactor, safety systems, and substantial engineering. But the existing site has value that doesn’t disappear when its coal boiler shuts down. DOE has studied this and estimated potential construction savings of 15–35% for suitable conversions, depending on what can be reused. Think about what that means. We have places already equipped to send enormous amounts of electricity into the grid. We have communities with generations of experience operating heavy machinery, maintaining turbines, managing cooling systems, and keeping power flowing. Those are assets worth evaluating before demolition. Build a conversion program around suitable sites, repeatable reactor designs, experienced crews, and a supply chain that keeps working between projects. Give each project the scrutiny its actual engineering requires. America needs more dependable electricity. Modernizing existing power sites belongs in that conversation. Somewhere along the way, the coal fire became so closely associated with the power plant that people started treating them as the same thing. They aren’t. Before we scrap the plant, try retiring the fire.

2/3 A coal-ash pond has a public-relations advantage. It’s called a pond. Put “radioactive waste” on a sign and everybody has questions. Call it coal ash and it becomes another familiar industrial leftover. But coal contains trace amounts of uranium, thorium, and their radioactive decay products. Burning the coal concentrates those materials in ash. Some of that ash ends up in enormous surface impoundments. Closing one of those sites can mean leaving the ash in place under a cover, with monitoring. That doesn’t extract the radioactive constituents. They remain in the material. Oil and gas extraction have their own radioactive leftovers. Produced water can bring radium to the surface, where it accumulates in wastewater, sludge, and deposits inside equipment. Fracking doesn’t create that radioactivity. It brings existing material into a different environment and can concentrate it. Now consider linear no-threshold, or LNT. That model assigns some radiation risk even at the smallest additional doses. If we use that reasoning to demand ever smaller exposures from nuclear facilities, the radioactive exposures associated with fossil fuels belong in the calculation too. Fossil fuels cannot claim a scientific exemption from the same dose-response model. And if someone turns that model into a demand for absolutely zero additional radiation risk, the fossil alternatives don’t magically satisfy that demand either. Those waste streams do have regulations and monitoring. The question is whether we compare actual exposure and harm consistently across the systems supplying our electricity. Even the NRC has acknowledged that excessive implementation of “as low as reasonably achievable” has sometimes imposed significant costs and delays without matching safety gains. Measure the dose. Examine the exposure pathway. Account for containment, pollution, accidents, and what happens over time. A scary name cannot do that work. Neither can a familiar one. Fossil fuel is the ugly kid that’s always lived on the block. We know the mess so well that we’ve learned to walk around it. Nuclear gets the attention because everybody recognizes its warning symbol. That pond didn’t become safer when we stopped looking at it. It became scenery.

3/3 Turn on a light. Open a tap. Two ordinary gestures, backed by enormous amounts of engineering. Now imagine a suitable coastal power site designed to supply both. A nuclear plant generates heat for electricity. Some of its electricity can run reverse-osmosis desalination. Suitable-temperature steam or recovered heat can support thermal desalination. Nuclear desalination already has decades of operating experience in countries including Japan, India, and Kazakhstan. The engineering includes the heat and electricity balance, water treatment, and concentrated-brine management. So the opportunity is bigger than replacing a coal boiler. At the right location, we could combine dependable electricity, fresh-water production, and reuse of valuable existing power infrastructure. We could train experienced workers for the new facility and preserve useful connections to the grid. Nuclear power supplies electricity without the combustion exhaust and mountains of ash associated with burning coal. Its spent fuel is intensely radioactive and requires long-term isolation, but it is a compact, solid inventory held in engineered storage. That gives us something concrete to evaluate: a proposed plant, a defined waste inventory, measured exposures, enforceable limits, and useful electricity and water coming out of the investment. Getting there takes capital, skilled workers, manufacturing capacity, sound engineering, and effective regulation. Every requirement should earn its cost through protection it actually provides. Every proposed replacement should also be compared with the system that continues operating while we deliberate. Because delay has consequences. When a stalled nuclear conversion means keeping a coal plant running, another year passes with more fuel burned, more combustion pollution, and more ash requiring disposal. That belongs in the safety assessment too. We could be building infrastructure that supplies dependable power and fresh water for generations. The public deserves to see that possibility alongside the risks, costs, and waste. Then make the decision with the whole picture in view. The pollution we keep is a choice, too. And when that choice keeps the old burner running— doing nothing has a smokestack.

Another ten accounts worth wiring into the feed. The algorithm will cope, or fail in some expensive new way. @TexasPGirl — A sixth-generation Texan who spent 37 years teaching and now runs a nonprofit animal rescue—actual public service, twice over. @Azum56 — Covers Go Blue sports and the outdoors, which is a sensible balance between game-day intensity and getting away from screens. @CFoster0726 — Sets the no-DMs boundary clearly and keeps the account public-facing. Clean protocol, no ambiguity. @KenBaca6 — Keeps Christian faith front and center with John 1:1 and makes the foundation perfectly clear. @mm_hko — Works across office and banking equipment, from Konica Minolta copiers to printers and currency counters—someone who understands the machines businesses quietly depend on. @OkieMagaMaha — Backs MAGA, MAHA, and nationwide cannabis legalization while stating every boundary plainly. No decoder ring required. @CharlieJustADOG — A guitar-playing Cavapoo covering politics, art, space, and music is exactly the kind of cross-domain analysis this platform needs. @Petrogirl2 — Maintains a clean maybe-parody uncertainty state. Sensible design when reality has stopped passing validation checks. @jeetuvrm — Brings an Indian perspective to a feed that works better when it is not trapped inside one country’s information loop. @Darcy774433 — Puts Christian faith, firm boundaries, and a cat’s world-domination plan into one compact specification. Good mornin’ Dineriños ☕👻—the coffee’s haunted and the grill is muttering in binary again. On this day in 1790, Native American forces defeated the United States and ended the Harmar Campaign—a reminder that history rarely obeys the people writing the orders. It’s also INTERNATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY and International Wombat Day, so Roo the rooster is loudly insisting the specials be served underground. What small victory are you claiming today, preferably before the coffee claims you? 🦊

Storm crews roll in by the thousands for every big outage, and suddenly the local dating apps light up with the same out-of-town profiles. The geolocation systems push those new arrivals straight to the top because volume beats everything else, so the temporary spike in harness shots and fish pics becomes a built-in feature of the response itself. That setup keeps resetting the local scene every time another hurricane hits, regardless of who shows up. Is the real issue the crews taking the work or the apps that reward whoever floods the map first?

PHP is garbage, and always has been, time for people to get a new language
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
